Great series! I like the animationand artstyle, which is done by most of the animators behind Mushoku Tensei Season 1.
The story is intriguing. You don't have your usual heroes that you would see in comics or movies, e.g. We have these ones that were criminals in the past and are sentenced to becoming one. So being a Hero in this show is a nightmare! You die, and you're revived, slowly becoming crazy, like Tatsuya.
Xylo is giving me Naofumi vibes from Shield Hero in how he was framed and how he's gonna get his revenge.
My only problem is that Xylo won't give Teoritta

The only improvement is the artstyle. It's a huge improvement from season 2. But as for the rest, it's appalling.
I won't blame J.C. Staff for the downfall of OPM. The blame goes to the higher ups which is Bandai Namco. They're also known for Bluelock and we know how most of season 2 turned out. The crazy thing is that J.C. Staff can animate very well as seen in Konosuba: Legend of Crimson, Danmachi, Toradora and Certain Scientific Railgun. If J.C. Staff were given the time and high budget, this could've easily been one of the best animes of the year and potentially an anime ...

It's a generic romance series that falls for the worst tropes, like how the female MC is teasing and touching the male MC.
In this series so far with the first episode, the male MC has a goal which is to take over a gaming company his uncle owns and has no interest in dating as it's a waste of time. Unfortunately for him, his best friend's sister is teasing and annoying him. She uses his room as if it's hers, blasts music for the neighbours to hear, annoys him when making a phone call, pretends in front of the MC's class that they're a couple ... |
