I never write reviews, but this series makes me feel obligated to do so. It’s visually beautiful on the outside, but extremely poorly told on the inside.
If you're into a show with a massive budget, pretty animation, solid CGI—and you don’t care about anything else—this is your show. It throws a ton of information at you, and after just two episodes, you still have no idea what’s going on. There’s zero character development. The protagonist goes from being a complete nobody to practically a god who knows everything—literally overnight—with no explanation.
At least in Solo Leveling, we see the main character train and we understand how
...
his world works. Here, not even that. He gains power for no reason, suddenly knows how to cast spells and fight well, when just two episodes ago he didn’t know anything—not even what was happening. Now he fights like a pro and casts enchantments he somehow learned out of nowhere, and we’re never shown how or when he learned them.
The visuals are nice, but there’s never a moment to breathe. This series feels like it was made for the “TikTok generation” and its silly ADHD trend—people who can’t focus on anything for more than 10 seconds.
Remember those anime where every episode feels like a completely different story? This feels the same. Between episodes, it’s like huge chunks of information are missing, and we’re watching a recap of a previous season we never saw.
I even tried watching it dubbed in Latin American Spanish, but it fails there too. The voices are barely understandable. Even though it has good voice actors, the sound design makes it hard to catch a single word the characters are saying.

Here I will give my impressions and not talk much about the series to avoid giving them spoilers:
I honestly can't imagine finding a work as daring and interesting as Masaaki Yuasa breaking the mold, this director is a GENIUS.
We have a work that I would call very experimental, it is a work that overflows of love and detail, this series doesn't pretend to be pretentious, this one only pretends to tell us how a group of girls make anime but its narrative is so MAGISTRAL, so absurdly beautiful and original that you won't find it easily. It's a too experimental series because while all
...
the animes opt for styles almost copied from each other, the good Masaaki gives us a work that breaks that mold and gives us a work where the world of imagination feels too handcrafted and that's incredibly beautiful because it also plays with meta-narrative, plays with references and it's so incredible his visual style that it reminded me a lot to the story of Princess Kaguya from Ghibli. I'm so happy to find such beautiful and original works.
Regarding the animation, the same thing is super well done, it doesn't pretend to be pretentious but it is animated in a simple way that combines perfectly with its environment and characters, regarding the design of these last ones I am totally demonstrated that we don't need disproportionate girls or with ridiculous personalities so that these are endearing; these three have a synergy and compatibility very well spun, their friendship is noticed that it is sincere and it is not forced, during the course of the series I didn't find deus ex machina and the flow of it is very well. Regarding the sound section I can say that it's the first time in all my experience watching anime that I find a foley and use of FX so curious and great because in the world of imagination, much of the OST and FX are made with guttural sounds that play a characteristic prosopoeic function but at the same time illusory and aesthetic, it's incredible that a series has so much genius on it.
I feel that I didn't really see an anime series, I feel that I saw a high work that has a great cultural charge besides being a love letter to the animators, honestly no matter how much I try I don't find any mistakes, even so later I will see it again, it is simply incredible and wonderful.
My grade is 10/10

I remember the first chapters that I saw, I hate the series because BAD INTERPRET the story because I felt that I was selling an NTR because of the relationship between Kaori and Kousei, I even hated the series and I stopped seeing it besides scoring it with a 1 out of 10 here in MAL. But nothing is further from reality, knowing the true background makes this series one of the best romance series in history and I say it without fear because it teaches us too valuable lessons one of them is to realize that it is not I need a confession and
...
start a relationship so that the feeling of love is transmitted, sometimes you just need unconditional and unwavering support. I also learned that love is a mystery because it can make us get good grades or leave our minds blank, cure diseases, Stop the time or accelerate it as happened to Tsubaki. The purest love does not listen to reasons, it is impertinent and selfish, it appears from nothing and condemns us to suffering but not a detestable suffering but something absolutely beautiful, that is, love is a mystery that speaks through heaven, because heaven is connected and we in a certain way connect with him, he also shows us the value of life, he invites us to live it, reminding me a lot in that sense to Plastic Memories because we know that someone is going to die and we want to spend the maximum amount of time with that person, in the case of them looking for no remorse, Kaori left behind his fear to look for Kousei, Kaori as a character is an example to follow because of his great strength to move forward with all his strength until the last minute of his life.
Finally this anime when you give it the opportunity and you see it with the right perspective it reaches the soul, transforms it and instructs you about life itself. It is this kind of anime the great standards of audiovisual quality; now if we talk about the technical section is beautiful, the music is really fascinating, perfectly communicates well that this song is set at the right time creating a fascinating atmosphere to this we add the design of characters, environments, color palettes and more overflows a work of art that few animes can reach, is a work that reboza of mime and affection for each pore, each frame is a delight, many scenes are worthy for wallpaper, thus placing itself in one of the best animes I've seen and regretting deeply for having thought so badly of such a magnanimous work, so I apologize to this work of art with this review and I feel that I cut myself with what I have written now.
