I honestly have very mixed feelings about Tamons b side. I love the premises even though it’s a bit cheesy it’s cute and tamon and the other members of f/ace interest me. The music for the show, the animation and concepts of face and their fans are creative but I think my problem lies more with Utage. She is not really an mc I like or can root for? Is she suppose to be “relatable” but I find her spending all her money and time praising an idol she doesn’t know weird and her calling Tamon god yelling at him and any of the ... humour surrounding her i genuinely find to be extremely cringey. She is not only a parasocial fan that’s played for laughs she genuinely is so bland and shallow? She likes Tamon for his looks (gloomyhara is ok because he’s still hot tamon!) and is basically coaching him to be like his idol persona but I cannot get behind that concept i genuinely feel bad for Tamon and the pressure and self esteem issues he has and the only person he has helping him is a parasocial fans who views him like god and wants him to be like persona his company made him be and not because she also appreciates his true self. I genuinely hope it gets better but do think this will be the main humour and how the mc is which is disappointing, her behaviour is not normal- it’s creepy and not quirky, I think if the mc was different I would have liked this show better but her wanting Tamon to be for the people and not want to date him is weird I’m sorry.

TL;DR: if the mc was different and not a parasocial, shallow weirdo the story could’ve progressed better and I would have liked it!
