Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity is an interesting anime with very strong production values. The animation is stellar, with consistent quality in every episode and attention to detail that makes it feel like a high-budget project. The character designs are visually appealing, and the cast looks distinct and well-presented.

My main issue with the series is the shallowness of its story. Character development often feels strange, and the pacing is extremely slow. At times, the show creates unnecessary confusion without offering meaningful payoff. After finishing the first season, the emotional or narrative reward simply wasn’t there for me.

The main characters have moments that feel dumb or ... unrealistic, which makes it harder to fully connect with them. The ending of the season was especially confusing and, in some ways, even a bit uncomfortable or stalker-like, without going into spoilers. The final episode stumbles and lands in an awkward space where the payoff just doesn’t work.

This is a very slow-burn romance, very slow. You’ll need a lot of patience to get through it. If you enjoy high school romance and are willing to take your time, you might still enjoy the journey. However, if you’re looking for something more mature or emotionally complex, this probably isn’t the right anime for you.

There’s also little to no humor here, at least for me. The show is pure romance slice-of-life. One highlight, though, is the bromance between the male characters, which feels genuine and well done, and may even be the second most important element of the story.

All in all, Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is a great anime, but the ending slightly weakens the overall experience. The series is very different, creative, and brave in how it presents its ideas. The final episodes aim for an even bolder, more experimental approach, almost like the author is directly speaking to the audience. While that’s an interesting idea on paper, it doesn’t land as strongly as the emotional conclusion the story was building toward.

For me, ending the series around episode 23, with a stronger emotional payoff, would have worked better and pushed the show closer to perfection. Despite that, Orb remains ... a very strong and brilliant anime.

Ōoku: The Inner Chambers is a dark, heavy anime filled with tragedy, brutal choices, and painfully realistic human moments. This is not a light watch. It’s clearly aimed at viewers who enjoy serious, tragic storytelling with a historical (alternative history) and dramatic focus.

The series explores power, gender, sacrifice, and survival in a harsh feudal setting, where circumstances often force characters into cruel and irreversible decisions. Many of the most impactful moments come not from action, but from quiet suffering, emotional loss, and the consequences of authority. Because of this, the story can feel uncomfortable at times, but intentionally so.

The animation isn’t outstanding or flashy, but ... it does its job well enough to support the atmosphere and emotional weight of the story. The art style fits the historical setting and helps sell the somber, oppressive tone. What really carries the series, however, is the writing and the characters. Their motivations feel human, flawed, and believable, and the brutal circumstances they face make their decisions hit hard.

The story premise itself isn’t groundbreaking, it mainly serves as a strong setup for exploring deeper themes. Where Ōoku truly shines is in its character-driven drama and the moral dilemmas it presents. The series doesn’t shy away from showing the uglier sides of humanity, and some scenes are graphic and emotionally intense, so viewer discretion is advised.

Overall, Ōoku: The Inner Chambers is a surprising and mature anime. If you’re into historical drama, tragic romance, and dark, thought-provoking stories that focus on people rather than spectacle, this series is absolutely worth your time.

This anime is actually pretty good.
Story seems little predictable but it is very enjoyable for now.

It is simple and pretty. It has that good sense of what it is trying to do. And the characters are also interesting.

Anime contains just a little bit of fan service.

Humor in this for now is also pretty good. I don't have any issues with Animation, I like the style they went for and think Animation is good.

This show has gimmick that is pretty obvious and I hope that they will not run it to the ground. All in all show has potential for some light rom-com, nothing to ... crazy special.
