Mononoke is a full sensory experience. Its color palette and the composition of each frame are so meticulously crafted that they simply leave you speechless. Add to that a hypnotic soundtrack and a story that grips you from the very first minute, and the result is a 10/10 masterpiece.

The protagonist is, without a doubt, one of my favorites; who could resist such an eccentric and enigmatic character? From his very first appearance in Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror, he already left you wanting more. Fortunately, the Mononoke series and this film exist to satisfy that craving for a horror story told with elegance, brimming with visual ... details, immersive sounds, and images that stay etched in your memory.

If I must use a couple of words to describe it, it would be visually stunning and full of cuteness.

I picked up this manga thanks to a recommendation from a friend on MAL, and OMG—the art style is absolutely gorgeous! The little vignettes are incredibly stylish, and the story is just so cute. Every moment is filled with tenderness.

This manga is more about mood and atmosphere than plot, with the main character's relationship unfolding through colourful/beautifully illustrated vignettes.

About the Characters: The FL is a mysterious, elegant woman. Her charm is quiet but captivating, and she often expresses herself through subtle glances and gestures rather ... than words - The ML is a gentle reserved officer. He’s sincere and totally into her, but he doesn’t really show it much.

Definitely a must-read!
