It builds up for a message that is not true at all. If a work ends with a message that is shown working, someone is inclined to believe that the message is worth their time. But with this anime, the thing that would solve conflits is tried at the half of the story and just don't work at all. The message of the first episode, of "rules are made for a reason", or however you may interpret it, is much more impactul and valuable than the message of the last episode. This anime had a lot of scenes to feel, but since the ending is ... so boring compared to the rest that you can't tell if it the desired writing or the author just gave up at some point.
