Vagabond takes its reader on a journey through Miyamoto Musashi's Edo period journey. Though the pacing is slow and might not appeal to dopamine wired fast paced aura focused fans, the storyline and the main character's development throughout the manga is masterful. A story about how "strength bends to kindness" and the incredible sequence of events that make the MC who he is. The side stories of secondary characters sometimes feel lengthy, however, these moments set up the story for the intricate connections each character has to one another. I hope that some day in the near future, Takehiko puts his finishing touches on this ... wonderful story.
