Hello, I'm Mingkael!
Anime has been part of my life since forever. When I was little, I used to love Pokémon, Digimon, Mach GoGoGo and Yu Gi Oh! At 11 years old, I decided to actively start watching more anime and somehow ended up falling into the BL / Yaoi / Shounen ai hole. Many of them were very problematic and toxic, but back then I used to think they were flawless. Nowadays, I prefer watching action, horror, psychological, comedy, and adventure anime, and tend to avoid romance, mecha, magic, and historical anime. However, I always try to give anime of any genre a chance as long as they have high ratings (8 and above) and good reviews.
I don't read much manga and I don't think there's a particular reason for that. If I like a manga a lot and it becomes one of my favorites, I try my best to purchase all the original physical volumes.
