Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, a series that started out very strong in the spring and I honestly thought it would be one of the best of the season and it is up there but, I was sadly a little let down after a dozen of so episodes. This is my second review on MAL so plz dont rage if i mess up.

Story-8
Isekai, adventure, video game like, and action. A teenager named Naofumi is transported to a new world and is turned into one of the 4 legendary heroes. He is the shield hero, the hero that is considered to be the weakest ... of the four. After being disgraced and loosing the less than expected respect he had Naofumi sets out on his quest of vengeance while also protecting the inhabitants of the new world, well most of them anyway.
The story itself is getting pretty predictable and includes many cliches
Art- 8
The art was good but I personally feel like the artwork is like a roller coaster in this series. It starts off good then decent, then average, it did come back to a decent level in the last few episodes.

Sound-9
I dont know what to say lol. I enjoyed both OP 1 and 2 and the sound isn't bad. Personally I feel like the show deserves a 9 for sound.

Melty, the king, and the spear hero all need to die- i have probably never hated characters this much in an anime that it is just irritating
I honestly have never been so mad while watching an anime when it comes to characters everyone just accuses Naofumi without even giving him a chance to voice his opinions besides that I personally like everyone in his party

As i said before it started out very good and was very enjoyable but as the series progressed it lost it's magic but it was still decently enjoyable.

Overall-8
It had so much potential but just the audience down. After watching the first two episodes I was so blown away that I thought the anime gods themselves had made this show but I was wrong :(

Ok so this is my first review on MAL and if I make a mistake I apologize in advance. Gantz was the manga that had gotten me into genre of manga itself a couple of months ago. At first when I had saw it I was going to not read it but I decided to give it a shot and I was NOT disappointed. After I started reading I just couldn't stop! :) I'll try my best to write an unbiased review

Story-8
Story wise, Gantz is above average and is basically a mature, sci-fi, action, adventure, and finally a hint of mystery. There were a few ... loopholes around the end of the series but besides that it was pretty good, well i think so at least.

Art-9
The art is not bad for its time of early 2000's. For some reason, the first two thirds of the series has good art but then for a short period of time it downgraded a little but came back for the finale.

Characters-8
I personally liked a majority of the characters but there were a few that I just hated with a passion and there were some characters who I had mixed feelings for. One of them was Kei, the main character of Gantz. In the first chapter, he is seen as a rude teenager but his reputation improves over time. Another character that I would like to talk about is Tae. So without spoiling anything her actions and her influence of some of Kei's decisions makes me strongly dislike her. I prefer every other female character over her.

Enjoyment-9
Really enjoyable series that was worth my time. Action that had me on the edge of my seat, suspense that had me biting my nails, and finally deaths made me sad.

Overall-9
Overall this series got a overall rating of a 8.5 from me but I wanted to round it up to a 9. If you're thinking about reading the series, please do!
