I really liked how this episode fixed Takemitchys character and made him a much more enjoiable prtagonist to follow. Also loved how Hina had more autonomy in this season and wasn't just being pushed around by the plot.

This season really did something for the character dynamics and development of this Anime. Honestly, a season like this was really needed to uphold my liking for this anime.
It was a solid watch with a lot of drama, action and emotional damage. The comedic aspect of the first season was much less present, but that was a good decision. If Takemitchy was as clumsy, whiny and ... annoying, as he was in the first season, that would have been a real dealbreaker. had had the right development at the right time.

The backstories of some new characters really added some depth to the whole thing.

Tokyo Revengers is amazing and I really recommend it BUT I still have some mixed feelings because the main character is painfully unlikable. Its improving by the third season and it really just comes down to what you can tolerate. Takemitchy is not a bad person per se hes just a little frustrating. The other Characters are really amazing tho, especially when it comes down to backstories, motivation and development.

The Art style, animation and especially the fight scenes are of course top notch. The character design is a bit goofy, especially if you remember that these are 14 to 17 year olds, that look ... like 20 year old bodybuilders.

Tokyo Revengers may seem like a solo leveling type anime, where you can just turn your brain off and enjoy the fights. But the emotional damage hits hard every season. Its comedic, dramatic and full of action. And the amazing side characters make up for the flaws of the main character.

I dropped this show because the se-ualisation of minors was a dealbreacker for me. I just felt very grossed out while watching it. Especially the treatment of the female lead was incredibly uncomfortable and the writers barely disguised fet!sh.

The Plot was okay, nothing too special. The animation, artstyle and all that were amazing. The character design was okay at best. The male main character was just another black haired looser who serves as a self insert for the average male watcher and the author. The female main character was a bit better. She has some autonomy and wasnt just being pushed around by the ... plot but all that just has the vibe of "girlboss feminism" and not actual good writing.

So I dropped it because I was kinda bored, grossed out and didnt feel like seeing the underage girl's underwear again.
