It's fine. I liked it, but I tend to be easily entertained. Those who want actual storytelling or action will not like this, but those who are here for the joy of just being will more than likely like it.
This original story starts with the main character getting isekaid into a magical world through train. We meet friends along the way as also mysteries. Everyone isn't as they want to be seen. There really isn't much to say about the plot, there's barely any of it. As one reviewer on bilibili said, the content of each episode is either water or water.

The Ruins of KunLun LingLong seems to be NiceBoat Animation's first official digital 3D (well, 2.5D actually) project and it did not hold back. The style of the series is absolutely gorgeous and fits the story like a glove. Animation is great and supports the style very well. This series could be a great gateway for more 3D donghua for people that are skeptical of it.
The series starts slow and leans into its worldbuilding rather than constant fights which felt like fresh air. The atmosphere of the series is rather quiet and calm. The story is great in that it doesn't endlessly infodump at you ...

Started off strong, but lost me for the most part and then brought me back on board on the last two episodes.
You'd think from the first episode that this is going to be a supernatural centric show, but instead most episodes center around gangs and fighting between students. It does get better when Reigen comes back and somehow becomes the most sane and normal person in the show. Animation is beautiful and artistic, with multiple styles sprinkled throughout.
