Yeah, I will never understand the people who wear masks below their noses.
I feel you, what annoys me the most is that most of the people prefer irl classes than online lol
If you are not enjoying it, I would suggest not forcing yourself unless you think it might get better.
Music might help coz I enter a different zone while listening to music and weird thoughts/questions start to pop in my head.
Going alone to watch a movie and having all the popcorn to yourself, damn you just made me miss that stuff lol. I've never really been to a concert so I don't how the experience is, though it looks really fun ngl. I like wearing masks too especially during conversations with random people coz I don't have to pretend I'm interested in the convo (ik it sounds kind of rude lmao).
I haven't been to my school for like 6 months and that probably was the best thing that happened to me because of COVID haha
Honestly, I would say that s2 and s3 are the peaks of MHA, that's just my opinion though. The manga readers keep saying "this is the calm before the storm and it gets way better" for like every season lmao.
Whenever I watch a show having a great plot, it always inspires me to write a story, but then I realize it's too much work and hard to maintain consistency. But if you feel like sharing a story, don't hesitate.
I don't want things to go back to normal, even before the virus I never used to leave my house and because of lockdown, I have an official reason to stay at home lol. But sometimes I do just going out to roam around. Did the virus affect your life or nah?
Yeah and I don't even know if they think it's funny or they actually like shipping random people. I haven't watched s5 yet but I saw many people saying it is boring and slow-paced.
I would love to read one of your stories!
Now that you ask me, I just realized I'm on my PC all day and don't like to do anything else. I'm questioning my life choices right now haha.
I love to travel though, especially if it's somewhere far away. But I haven't travelled anywhere since last year and a half because you must know the great state the world is in right now :(
I really get annoyed when DB fans say "can he beat Goku though?", I'm like '-_-'.MHA fandom just keeps randomly shipping everyone and I absolutely don't get that lol.
I wouldn't say it's hard, it's just that I would've learnt more Spanish by watching Spanish shows than just using books/apps.
I used to watch Pokemon, Doraemon and shin-chan as a kid but I never knew they were in the "anime" category. I don't think I'm ever gonna watch Dragon Ball (Goku fans are crazy lmao)
It's actually really impressive that you are multi-lingual and have a diverse cultural background. I tried to learn Spanish once and gave up immediately coz it was too complicated lol. I think I learn more through shows/games than textbooks if that makes sense.
Yeah, I mean I get the "I used to watch naruto in my childhood while it was airing and it is nostalgic", but I refuse to believe that someone will like it if they watch it in 2021 where shounen has peaked IMO.
No need to thank me, always happy to suggest stuff :)
Btw, how did you learn to speak multiple languages, if you don't mind answering?
I think so too because I doubt I would be hooked to anime if I started with like Naruto (watching it rn and this is the most boring show I've ever watched lol). I occasionally enjoy some ecchi shows but most of the time, they overdo the fanservice imo or it's just that I'm not enough of a degenerate.
Umm romance, here are some suggestions: Ao Haru Ride (I think you might like the MC), Tonikaku Kawaii (if you enjoy wholesome shows with 0 drama) and ReLIFE (more of a rom-com, but MCs aren't dense like other average shows)
I'm still a sucker for romance lol cause who doesn't love a good romance.
I was the "anime looks childish" guy and never really understood the hype for it. But in November 2020, I noticed that everyone on the internet was talking about it. The twitch streamers and chat would talk about it, especially Hunter x Hunter. So, I was like "if everyone is talking about it, it can't be bad right?" and then decided to watch HxH. Even then, after watching 1st ep, I wasn't impressed at all and still thought it was kinda childish. After 2nd ep, I said, "it isn't that bad". And finally, after 3rd ep, I was hooked and now have been binging anime since then (don't regret watching anime at all )
I kind of feel you for not having patience for a show to finish airing. Personally, I like to go in blind not knowing the synopsis or the genre of the anime and hope that I will enjoy it.
And no problem! I'm glad I could be of any help. If you ever need a suggestion/recommendation, feel free to ask me. Also, don't hesitate to share your thoughts on them.
So, what introduced/motivated you to start watching anime?

Yeah, I guess all the extroverts were happy who wanted to meet everyone. Never understand how do they talk with everyone lol

Do you have any hobbies other than anime/gaming?
