I don't understand the reason that why the fuck its animated series was never continued ever again, I mean it was better than Drama bcz in Drama many arcs were missing which could fill as a gap in animated series and plus animated series was far more comedy than drama, BTW this manga is best and I loved it as an Indian who is a hardcore anime fan since class 9th.

I loved the part when they wanted money so Carlos told Yankumi's student to bet money on bike course race and also another incident when her students reached Hokkaido and wreaked havoc, this manga is ... indeed hillarious.

I just wanna say one thing, If you are a boxing lover then should watch the second part too, its fun and perfect. Ashita no Joe 2 even though its 45 years old but still it carries that essence and spirit which causes me to watch both series again and I sometimes rewatch some episodes like from season 1 fight between Wolf and Yabuki and Rikishi and Yabuki while in season 2 fight between Yongbi Kim and Yabuki and last fight of Jose Mendoza and Yabuki is best and the confession of Shiraki girl to Yabuki Joe when before match with Mendoza.

Ashita No Joe, even though its more than 50 years old but the storyline is lot better than today's most animated series and its full of motivational, now I realized why Japanese students during early 70s who were affliated with communism loved the series and I must say this anime series is legend and it will live on and I recommend all anime fans to just watch it ones, you guys will love this.

I actually liked the friendship between Nishi and Yabuki Joe and also Rikishi Toru as well as the old man and no stupid arcs just straight and motivated and full of spirit.

I wish there were more episodes of Gokusen I mean it was perfect, Gokusen should get a manga adaptation fully as Drama series left and skipped many important arcs and storylines which was sad. Frankly speaking, Gokusen anime should continue and completed and for this I even started a petition for this https://chng.it/22DtxJf9Wt, please share this and sign the petition and lets restore and finally end the journey of Class 3-D.

I loved the Anime and IDK why nowdays animes are not made lighthearted or comedy with a pinch of pun, animes of 2020s are full of voilence and blood as well as Hentai while ... anime duirng 1980s-2000s were atleast funny and especially in Gokusen I loved Kyoutarou the young chief of Kuroda Family who gets emotional always and tries to sacrifice himself and lots of drama in Oedo home
