Preliminary (31/? chp)
The Unwelcome Guests of House Fildette is easily one of the most entertaining and addictive historical romance manhwa out right now. It gives everything I want from this genre and then some. The drama is delicious, the tension is sharp enough to cut glass, and every chapter keeps you perched on the edge of your seat like you are living in the mansion with them.

Rania is such a refreshing lead. She is elegant, kind, and composed but she will absolutely serve a graceful clapback when needed. Watching her quietly dismantle manipulative behavior with poise is incredibly satisfying. And Benedict? The character development is so subtle ...

Preliminary (17/? chp)
This shoujo manga is a chaotic masterpiece in the best way. The heroine is a total perv with an overactive imagination and zero shame. After transferring from an all girls school, she becomes completely obsessed with boys and develops a library of erotic fantasies that would make even seasoned romance readers blush. Naturally, this makes all the other girls side eye her like she’s scandal incarnate, and most of the guys assume she’s easy and try to take advantage.

Enter Yuito. A socially awkward genius who gave up on human interaction ages ago, he’s the only one who doesn’t judge her. He treats her like she’s ...

Classroom of the Elite is one of those anime that really hooks you with its sharp intelligence and unpredictable twists. I went in expecting a typical high school drama, but what I got was a cold, calculated battle of wits hidden beneath the surface of elite education. And I absolutely enjoyed the ride.

The main character, Ayanokoji, is fascinating. He’s calm, quiet, and seemingly average, but it quickly becomes clear he’s far from it. Watching him manipulate situations from the shadows with surgical precision is oddly satisfying. The show thrives on psychological tension, manipulation, and strategy, and I loved seeing how every student is just a ...

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime completely exceeded my expectations. I gave it a 9/10 because it nails that perfect balance between world building, action, comedy, and feel good storytelling. What starts off as a quirky premise, an average guy reincarnated as a slime, quickly turns into an epic, character driven journey full of charm and depth.

Rimuru, our gooey protagonist, is one of the most lovable main characters in the isekai genre. He’s powerful, yes, but it’s his kindness, diplomacy, and desire to build a peaceful society that really make him stand out. Watching him grow from a literal blob into a respected ...

I gave Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi a solid 7/10 because while it wasn’t a thrill a minute type of show, it definitely warmed my heart and kept me interested throughout. If you’re into anime with a gentle pace, charming yokai, and a strong female lead who finds her place through food and kindness, this one’s for you.

The story centers around Aoi, who ends up in the spirit world to pay off her grandfather’s debt. Instead of accepting a forced marriage, she takes control of her fate by opening a restaurant and winning people over with delicious cooking. The atmosphere is cozy, the yokai world is beautifully ...

Devils Line (Anime) add
Devils’ Line might not be everyone’s top pick, but for me, it was a surprisingly gripping and emotional ride. It blends the supernatural with a grounded romance in a way that feels messy, intense, and human, ironically, considering half the cast are vampires.

What I liked most was the emotional conflict. The main character, Anzai, is a half vampire who struggles to keep his darker urges at bay while falling for Tsukasa, a kind and brave human girl. Their relationship isn’t polished or overly romanticized, it’s awkward, hesitant, and full of tension, which makes it feel more real. The themes around control, desire, and identity were ...

Battle Game In 5 Seconds was such a wild ride, and I genuinely had a great time watching it. If you enjoy psychological strategy games with unpredictable twists and superpowers thrown into the mix, this anime really delivers. From the very first episode, it throws you into the chaos, and it never really lets up.

What I loved most is how clever the main character, Akira, is. He doesn’t rely on brute strength, he plays mind games, uses logic, and constantly outsmarts others in a world where everyone is trying to survive. There’s also an interesting variety of characters, each with their own unique powers and ...

Tong Ling Fei (Anime) add
Tong Ling Fei (Psychic Princess) was such an enjoyable surprise! If you’re into historical romances with a sprinkle of supernatural flair and a fiery female lead, this one hits the mark. The story follows Qian Yun Xi, a noblewoman with spiritual powers who ends up marrying into the royal family in her sister’s place. What seems like a forced marriage plot quickly turns into an entertaining back and forth between two stubborn, complex characters who slowly let their guards down.

What really stood out to me was Yun Xi herself. She’s confident, clever, and doesn’t take nonsense from anyone, not even her cold, brooding husband, Prince ...

Koroshi Ai (Anime) add
Koroshi Ai is one of those under the radar anime that quietly draws you in with its slow burn tension, morally complex leads, and an atmosphere thick with mystery and unspoken emotion. It’s a unique blend of psychological drama, romance, and action that doesn’t rely on flashy tropes, but instead, lets the suspense and chemistry between the characters speak for itself.

At the center of the story is Chateau Dankworth, a stoic bounty hunter, and Ryang-ha Song, a charming yet deadly assassin with a past steeped in secrets. Their cat and mouse dynamic is unlike anything I’ve seen in recent anime. Ryang-ha is both playful and ...

Your Name is nothing short of a masterpiece. It’s a film that moved me deeply, stayed with me long after the credits rolled, and reminded me why I fell in love with anime in the first place. Visually stunning, emotionally resonant, and filled with heart, Your Name is a love story that transcends time, space, and memory itself.

The plot follows Mitsuha, a small town girl longing for something more, and Taki, a high school boy navigating the fast pace of Tokyo life. When they inexplicably begin switching bodies, their lives become intertwined in ways neither of them could imagine. What starts off lighthearted and humorous ...
