Now this is an absolutely hilarious anime. Often whatever he predicts seem to just turn out to be true. I don't think it is ever explained how, but that's how the world works. His followers notice how right he is all the time and deeply respect him. As a matter of fact he starts thinking others are playing along with whatever he is making up and he in return plays along with them playing along with him, unknown to him others are serious and not playing along.

The comedy and jokes are different from other anime. And its very intelligent. Its not just ... slapstick comedy. Its mostly in very well written dialogues. Its hard to explain. You have to see the anime yourself.

As if this is a parody anime, all his followers are women. I would say its a harem show but he never has any romance with anybody. The lead character is the best character in the show. Its even better that he is obsessed with trying to be a 'background' character, hiding his power level when he is now wearing the mask.

I am assuming this is a parody anime of sorts. Hence our hero's power level is just broken. He is just too powerful and seem to follow no logic?! Kind of like Saitama. But somehow it works as I don't think the main focus is the comedy and not the action. Defeating enemies is not the primary focus, but style he does it in and what comedy will follow. And somehow he can teach his most notable broken ability to his followers?! And now his followers are a unbeatable force. In season two his followers take a bigger role.

In season two I faced a bit of problem. Its very good but I had a tougher time following the story and the jokes. I think the dialogues became a bit too complicated for me. I am sure I missed jokes and some of the plot.

The action and animation is good in both seasons.

While this is a very highly rated show and very talked about franchise, I am not as smitten by it as many others. Maybe because I didnt watch the original tv shows or read the manga or play the games. Yes the racing in the show are good. In particular one race that happens early on in the show, where international Uma Musumes, take part. This show reminded me it is one of the best racing franchises.

Yet still....

I didn't enjoy the show much when there was no racing taking place. The personal life of the or training of the Uma Musumes are ... not that interesting. I would rather, this was a movie that skipped off-race field stuff.

Is it still good? Yes.

I like the cast as always and Anya is still the 'best' daughter. But something felt wrong this time. It felt a bit stale. At this point I feel I am watching a filler show. Good fillers but fillers nonetheless. I mean what was the end goal of the show? To infiltrate Donovan Desmond's family? This is such a low level goal compared to the say "find the One Piece". But I accepted it as it was a very lighthearted show to begin with.

But now this plot has dragged on for three seasons! I kind of think Loid should ... just infiltrate somehow wearing a mask and get all the info he needs that way. Somehow he can wear a mask and become someone else; like Ethan Hunt does in the Mission Impossible movies. The goal should have been met by seasons 1 or 2. Yet even in season 3 its not complete, though some progress have been made, maybe.

This is visual spectacle, with incredible animation. How did they do it. Most anime save their 'sakuga' budget for the important/thrilling scenes. Not this anime. It so frequently uses 'sakuga', I felt I wasn't able to enjoy the story as much. I was focusing on the jaw dropping visuals. Its possible I missed out on the story a bit, and hence wasn't enjoying the narrative elements much. As a matter of fact I was disappointed by the story from the first episode by how calmly he accepts he has been Isekai'ed into another's body. Its normal to have a trauma for a few days at ... least is it not? I mean this is not a kids anime, this anime is aimed at adults who are likely to pick up on this things. I felt the show overwhelmingly focused on visuals over character arcs. At least that's what I thought till episode nine.

Episode nine changed it a lot for me. I was all of a sudden invested in the story. I was all of a sudden invested in the characters. All of a sudden I felt I was watching a 10/10 show. To top it all I think we had a spectacular Finale.

I recommended it to all who wish to watch an adult anime/donghua. Also this gives you a glimpse at Chinese anime, and how good they are.

Right from the first episode I knew this was going to be one of the best shows of the year. The animation is beautiful and action spectacular. If you are thinking how good the animation is, think about Arcane; its almost up there.

The show characters leave you wanting more of their stories but the show has limited episodes and so many characters, it keeps moving on to different characters, and sometimes different timeline. For example you only understand why that dude in the 1st episode was jumping off the roof near the end of the show. You may not even know the story being ... told is of the past. But that's what is so great, it doesn't handhold you to everything, it keeps telling stories and its your job to tie together all the pieces.

Often the characters arc seems to end at a critical moment, where they might even get killed?! And without showing what happens to that character the story just moves onto the origin story of an entirely new character. You are kept wondering as the episodes go by, will they ever go back to that cool character whose story you were so invested in? I wanted to see what happens to those characters but at the same time I had thought it would also be so cool if they didn't go back, and kept moving to new characters, because that just is cool in its own way and subverts my expectation..

Apart for the masterful way they tell the stories for so many characters, another reason its so good is because of the fast pacing and at the same time interesting. The story never stands still.

I did have a minor issue with the power system. I mean even without any training it seemed our first hero became incredibly strong, as if he had been a pro for a long time. But other than that power system felt unique, where your popularity made you stronger. You strength is how others perceive you?

The show has a great soundtrack. And the opening is great, with the best song of the track.

Finally, if you think 'oh my! the heros are so cool!', the hero called X will blow them away, in the 'cool' factor. And I think he is shown in only two episodes? He is there in the final episode for sure and the final episode had stunning visuals, stunning action, stunning animation. Mind blowing.

I highly recommend the anime to anyone, not just action lovers, just so you can absorb the technical achievements. Is this an anime? Its technically a Chinese production (donghua), co-produced with Japan.

*** No Longer Allowed in Another World ***

I liked this show from the 1st episode to the last. This is a self aware anime and knowes how audience is used to Isekai tropes, and plays into it. Kind of like a Isekai parody. Closest example I can think of is how One Punch Man is a superhero genre parody. Somehow it still felt fresh. Our main protagonist is just different from the other Isekai protagonist's we are used to in other Isekais. He is of very poor health. He cant even walk much he is so weak , so he is dragged to places in ... a coffin by his allies. I like that it also ponders the idea of the isekai'ed people who com to the world can also become a nuisance or even threat to the world. And hence villains are not your typical villains.

BTW I was surprised in the last episode as out hero meets fairies. Boys will appreciate

I recommend it to fans of Isekai anime. I look forward to season two if they make it.

I sometimes watch videos made by the Youtuber who was involved in making this movie. He produced the movie with his own money and worked on the story with the studio. The initial story draft was made by him.

I did like it. I wished it was longer, with the characters fleshed out. But the movie was too small, but cant be helped as the budget was limited. I liked the visuals and and art. The animation is also good. However I dont think I got the story. By the time the movie ended I was confused.

This is a good 1st attempt at a movie. ... I hope he makes more.

At first it was strange everyone seemed to accept that the creature Fuji finds on the side of the street, is a dog. And somehow they accept the dog carries a notepad where he writes what it's thinking? And nobody seemed to question there is a leaf on the creatures head, which sometimes changed form. Its strange because the world the story takes place is not a fantasy world but our world. Anyways I didn't find the creature "referred by 'With You' in the anime title" very interesting. Yet the world is very realistic and soothing. I like the visuals and how the show looks. ... I just think its a good slice of life show even if you ignore the uninteresting creature.

I think the group that will like the show the most is single young ladies who are working or pursuing a career. Fuji is a young novelist who lives alone. They can relate to her the most.

This is an anime by Wit Studios and it looks great as expected per the Studio name. Visuals and animation in the anime is great. In particular action choreography and action animation is very good. Overall I like the production value of the show. The core premise also had potential as it deals with AI which is very relevant now. That's where the positives end for me.

The story sucks for me. The characters are underdeveloped. I don't think I rooted for any character in the show, cuz I never cared for any.

One thing that bothered me a lot is its not clear how the huge ... blob that appears in the show at one point, is so huge that it can consume cities. I mean it looks like it is made mostly of water. There is no water in moon. How did it get so big?

Though I like the action animations, the tech they use to fight, looked like magic to me. It was just too much, even for a sifi show. So even though action is animated well its unrealistic action for a sifi settings.

I find it hard to recommend it to anyone even though its technically a good show.

*** Gachiakuta ***

Right form the start I felt I would be watching something different. The art, character design, power system and the world did feel different. I have to give the manga credit, they did try to create something new. Having said that I was not too fascinated by the story, characters, or the plot. I think where it does best is the animation and action. Action is over the top and sometimes is ridiculous/illogical but its still entertaining due to the good choreography. Some of the characters are interesting and even have mini back stories.

I was going to give it a 7 on overall ... enjoyment but I must acknowledge its good production value. So I'll bump it up to a 8/10.

The one thing that stuck out for me the most was, why was the sphere dropping do much trash below? Even if we assume the top side people don't care for everyone that will be hurt by the debris falling on the ground, they are airborne, and hence it makes sense they should recycle whatever they have. Because it doesn't seem they are coming to the ground to collect raw material to build their stuff. Maybe this will be explained in season 2?

Finally I wish to note, the episodes have good opening.
