As others have said, the first few episodes are just, on an other level. Above all, the first episode, which is probably one of the most emotionally charged that I have ever seen, which is surprising given that the characters involved have just been introduced. Seriously, a masterpiece of an episode.

After a few archs, it falls flat. This anime had the potential to become a masterpiece, an intrincated story whith unforseen events and consequences, unpredictable due to its nature, but instead it becomes a drama, centered around the backstories of other people and losing it's touch.

I would have loved that the first episode had some ... real follow-up, but instead it is forgotten along the series even though it is so esencial for the story to exist.

Even though I had a great time watching it, I was growing more and more disappointed watching how the (for me) best character was just forgotten and the series was becoming flat.
