I had read about 86 chapters before dropping it for no reason, but I had enjoyed it. So when I picked it back up more than a year later, I was surprised to find out I suddenly dislike it. The main cast is ready for death. It's do or die. There will be no mercy.

Around chapter 100 a guy shows up, takes pills to get stronger, and keeps yapping about being the strongest, the god of war, his strength is beyond humanity. He gets defeated on his knees. He keeps yapping, takes out another fucking pill and keeps yapping, then uses the pill. Main ... character in front of him with a sword only watches and say "I will deny your strength" (which he has been saying for the past chapters of this dragged out fight)

I give the fuck up.



It is as another review says - Chapters 67-last : "It's more talking and bragging than fighting"

Barely any plot, meh characters, meh interactions. Just hype and aura (from his mentor). But I don't feel it from the main character anymore this late in game. This is all cringe.

This was really good. The story is unique. The art style fits (as said by the author in the author interview lol). The characters were realistic and well-rounded.

I truly felt the despair of each character and they went about their schemes logically.

A few weak points such as "oh, I got this trove of evidence. I got a glimpse, but I panicked and broke it and won't think about it again until it's repaired" - lame, dropping my score to 9.

But other than that, it's a good story with a good ending.

I wish author had gone with ending 1 (my personal preference with this ... kind of character), but what can ya do. Ending 2 is good too ! As long as the destination is decent, all that matters is that the journey was great.

And the climax was visually extremely impressive !

Unique story that grips you as soon as you understand what is happening and doesn't let go,

flawless voice acting (Sukuna's voice actor is putting in work, too. But Crimson, Ultimatia, and Silverware Princess are the MVPs)

great, realistic and entertaining characters growing with experience without relying on MC to carry the show,

decent sound design, nothing to write home about

... but extremely bad animation that gets worse as the show goes on. It makes me honestly wonder what the work conditions of this animation studio could possibly be.

Still, the fun gimmick of this show is that the good guys are shown as scary, under-handed and shady while the villains use pep talks and power of friendship along with their backstory memories power-ups.

I will be reading the manga from the beginning to make up for the animation ; I suggest everyone to watch/read Ragna Crimson, there's multiple genres well-woved in, so there's something for everyone.

Good, unique story. If you like yanderes you will enjoy this.

+ : The girl is perfectly unsettling, and the plot will probably not go the way you think it will at first.

The story's decent, so is the art.

The MC is the biggest weakness, but we're used to these useless wimps by now. At least this one finds his spine from time to time.

He will never really decide on anything, always going with the flow - but whatever. More room for him to get trapped in the yandere's web, so it's not as bad as yandere-less manga.

This perfectly scratched my itch.

It's unhinged comedy, my favorite.

Very funny. Absolutely hilarious Got me laughing out loud constantly.

It's obviously garbage if you somehow could not tell by yourself, there won't be any deep worldbuilding lol.

But it's fun garbage and worth reading if you have time to kill. I also believe the 2 oct 2023 rating 2 is too harsh. I almost didn't read it because of him, so I put it off for a week or so, but fate made me read it and I can attest it's not THAT bad, lol. Seriously, give it a shot, ... you won't regret it.

Nothing I say is a spoiler because I'm only explaining how uninteresting this is. There is no elements of surprise. The pressure to keep your interest is all on the FMC, and I will not be spoiling her situation.

I was already hating it, but chapter 7 convinced me. I can't go on. This means I can't read more, because I'll jump off a cliff.

This is so bad. What is wrong with the people who enjoy seeing someone either doing nothing, or more likely, acting like a coward -and subsequently getting rewarded with a loving girlfriend ?

The guy has 0 personality. We're supposed to be ... blowing him because he didn't let his neighbor have water for dinner in chapter 1.
I'm not exaggerating, btw. Apparently this is an amazing feat in Japan.

But what brought me to the edge is chapter 7. Of course we get the lame, trash trope "couple discount" at cat cafe. The girl says yes while at the same time the guy says no. Then he caves under pressure and says "ok we are a couple". They enter the cafe. Then he keeps saying to the shopkeeper "we ain't like that tho" while the shopkeeper is all "i don't care. stop talking. be nicer to her". Then the seller offers to take a picture of them petting cats and THE MC SAYS NO !
There's a limit to how worthless you can make your characters and we have reached it.

It would be bearable if the guy had intense trauma or whatever, but again, he has no personality. His "background" doesn't make sense, either. He doesn't know anything because his loving family didn't teach him anything. Why ? No reason. In fact, he asks to live alone, so his parents buy him an apartment. There, he struggles because he doesn't know anything. So what happens ? His family teaches him how to do things, like using a washing machine. Why didn't they do so before ? Because this manga is trying to see how stupid you, the reader, can be.

Thinking about it, his male friend is also boring and useless. Nothing would change if he didn't exist.

The girl is alright, I guess. She's boring but she has a reason for that. The issue is that when one character is boring and cowardly you're supposed to pair them with someone interesting. But the author couldn't write an interesting character or plot point if I put a gun to his head.


I beg you, do not waste your time on this.

I almost got put off reading this isekai because 1) it's isekai and 2) the guy giving it a bad review was really, really mad. But I did read it, and not only is it good, the guy complaining and rating 1 because his favorite character died is simply a dumbass. He should be happy that the work made him feel things ! But oh well, you'll always have idiots everywhere, the kind that purposefully go see a comedy show only to later trash it because he laughed at the jokes, the kind that send death threats to villain actors, etc. You get the gist.

After ... giving it a shot, I can confirm the guy writing a bad review is out of his mind. Please do not take anything he says seriously. In fact, don't read his spoiler review, just read the story. Well, you probably want to know when to come back at the reviews so you can see for yourself how demented he is. To this I say : You'll know when. Come when your heart is hurt.

The art is decent, the story is original, I understand the intent of the translation 95% of the time, and the manga really plays with your feelings. I've read all available chapters and I'm thinking of reading the light novel because it's so interesting and I don't want to wait.
