Reincarnation of the Hero Party's Grand Mage a typical title that a lot of manhwas use in different forms what makes this manhwa different from the rest of the manhwas, well the story is not the kind of story where you are bombarded by a lot of good looking girls a character who just aura farms and seek revenge on those who wronged him in the past, did I forget to say that he does not go back in the past to solve his mistakes made in his past life.
Well although the title sounds typical the story is not I could say that it is
...
similar to Sousou no Frieren but at the same time extremely different the story starts with Rin who freezes his own body because he is about to die, after 300 years he is reincarnated in the body of a boy named Rain who is part of the Ludwig a noble family in his new body, Rin decides once again to achieve his goal of becoming a 7 star mage.
What can I say that is good about this manhwa is that it is divided into two categories tears and laughter.
It is very emotional in the first 3-4 chapters and then it hits again around chapters 30 to 40 and then it hits again from chp 60-62 and there are a few moments later that if it hapens to be invested in the story will hurt, mostly those moments will hurt because of the main character struggling to get over the fact that all his loved ones are no longer with him and that he couldn't keep the promise he made.
Otherwise a lot of funny moments that will help to get through the painful moments more easily.
The characters feel human and not just puppets controlled for the sake of the story, they are allowed to make mistakes, have regrets, suffer, learn from them without anything feeling forced THATS THE BEUTY OF A STORY.
The magic system in the manhwa is beautifully executed, in addition to the magic tier which can vary from tier 1 to tier 5+, there is also the rune system which can give different effects to the magic performed and the fact that in order to perform that magic you have to understand the principle behind it through mathematics is beautiful.
