Beautiful animation, just not funny.

I really tried, this show was talked about all over and was one of the stars of the season, everyone kept talking it up due to the animation, so I gave it a shot. I feel like this show could be called "Sensible Chuckle" the show, as I maybe laughed once in the 5 episodes that I tried. Yes the show is beautiful to look at, but that's just not enough to make a comedy that's not funny....funny.

The problem is that while the technical side of the show is great, it feels like the director/writer just have no concept of humor ... or timing, the jokes either fall flat altogether or just are mildly amusing, for a comedy to feel this dull is not just a problem, it's a failure of a comedy! If the show got funny after 5 episodes, I wasn't willing to give it any more of a chance since a comedy should be funny in most every episode and I can't even remember a single joke that stuck with me.

It's a shame, a lot of talented animators worked on this show and the humor just does not work.
