The Emotional Peak of the Series.
A lot has happened in this film being the start of the whole arc and the end of the series.
For anyone complaining just know that they followed the manga very faithfully and even added some fillers to make it feel more whole. They were just following the source material and I respect that.
I watched the film four times in theaters and planning for a 5th and honestly Hakuji and Koyuki is one if not the best characters in the series overall. This was not meant as a romance anime but it felt like it did in the short
...
span it lasted.
Hakuji as we learned came from a poor family and lived hell, his father being sickly and stole to survive. He wanted to be strong for him until his unfortunate death. Hakuji came into a rage and was saved by another through their fists, Keizo. He was taken in to his dojo and once again got another chance at a honest life and even met the love of his life, Koyuki 恋雪 when translated means snowflake. Koyuki and Hakuji cared for one another with her being sickly and cared for years and came to love one another having arranged to be married.
He got older and lived with these two having gained a sense of stability and purpose wanted to be strong for those that saved him but he lost them and from poison. Hakuji didn't even get to hear their final words in death. He lost everything all over again and came Muzan he turned into a blind rage forgetting love that he once felt and losing what he wanted to protect the most having a blindsided idea of strength to live.
Tanjiro and Giyu did not defeat Akaza alone but his past did and the love that long lingered. Love so strong Koyuki went to hell with Hakuji and its so fucking poetic I am crying as I write this review.
Shinobu and Zenitsu are cool. Overall made the anime justice. But what really carried this film is the music. Ears in bliss all around especially Koyuki's soft voice oml.

Makes you rethink about the value of time especially to those who are most limited by it. But you can make it worth it if you make it as these two did. Human beings live up until 60 years or roughly 25 thousand days and this two have 1/3 of that and someone lesser than the other.
Time is such a good element of any story. But on how short this one is what makes it so special. To impact somebody in a short amount of time, the time you have left and the time you wish to spend with somebody cut short.
I recommend Three Days
...
of Happiness, your lie in April, Plastic memories and I want to eat your pancreas for stories with the same pace and message. Honestly all are tearjerkers but Tokidoki did what these 4 did in one shot.
Amazing story!

The Manga is great. I found this out because of some promotional materials when I was in Enoshima/Fujisawa touring the IRL locations of their sister anime Aobuta. Both made by Cloverworks.
Honestly this romance manga is refreshing. The last romance I ever really liked is Kaguya Sama and that is more of a comedy and it is great but this one is very well written and overall sweet. Kaoruko's hairstyle and clothing is just top tier and that alone just made it better than other romance manga's. The fits are amazing sometimes I wish I was a girl due to the fact that she is
...
so pretty and cute! The embodiment of Girlypop and honestly she is so nice.
Enough fangirling with Kaoruko yeah I love her so much.
The story is great! From the start there is a building up of conflict between the two schools so that is also new. The side characters are nice but sometimes the manga has too many sumimasens or apologies but yet it is still filled with love.
I wish the manga does not end so soon. I wish they will age up and keep this manga pure!
MOST WHOLESOME MANGA I EVER READ THANK YOU MANGAKA!!!

This series made me think about how time of all things makes us human and how precious it is. We consume it, live it and overall spend it with each breath.
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is a show that not only tackles the fragility of time but on how important it is. Currently it is very hard to buy, a commodity hard or easy to give depending on you. But Kaori's life is timed. In the end time catches up and she is gone from the Earth leaving only memories and her impacts to what she spent her time on mainly her family and
...
Kousei.
This series makes me tear up seeing how short human life is and sometimes I take it for granted. Theres another day tomorrow. I'll do it next time maybe I will confess next Shigatsu (April). But time is what makes us human. We yearn to live a fulfilling life and one with others. It comes naturally that we want to connect with others as we live on as we are social beings and time just alleviates that experience making it more treasured.
Seeing Kaori pass on at 15 and I continue to live being impacted by a story so short yet most meaningful. Kaori and Kousei will forever live in my heart knowing that they lived their best with a small lie on Kaori's side. If only they had more time if only she lived through but she did not for the commodity we humans all yearn for is limited and some more to others.
So to anyone reading this, know that you are not alone. We are facing the challenges of our mortality and I wish we can all be as strong as how Kaori faced the imminent demise. I wish I can be that strong and hopeful for the future.
Amazing series, stupefying writer and one of the most depressed communities out there ( look how many people are crying on reddit and on MAL).
We all know what we think about during April and it is one without her. Continue to live on folks, thank you for reading.
I recommend Kimi no suizou o tabetai (I want to eat your pancreas) same vibe for the same sensation.

The manga only covers the first volume of the Light Novel. Might read the 2nd LN because the first one is severely lacking. The ending seems lackluster and ended in a weird place.
Also character development for the side characters is mediocre. I get that the tropes but minimal growth ain't that bad. They already proved Haru is amazing.
That's it. If you read the manga it will be confusing as hell as I was and some people that like to wrap things up neatly needs to read a novel. Its mid specially the ending wish they adapted the later volumes of the LN though.

I watched the anime around September 2021 and did not watch the film (OVA’S) nor read the manga because I know I will get heartbroken, and it did. If you look around my mal you will notice a lot of romance and shoujo and I am naturally attracted to romance.
I completed reading and watching a day before writing this review and up until now it is all about which I could think. Imagine having the opportunity to Redo your life. A lot of people will jump on the fact and honestly maybe me too.
We all have something we would rather change or experience, but
...
reality is all we could do is move forward towards a better future. We cannot deny the formational values our teenage years will affect the rest of our lives, especially adulthood. Our main character, Kaizaki having experienced a traumatic tragedy has become stuck in a life of disparity but yet youth has changed him. That alone made me shed tears, but I cried a river learning that he will be forgotten by the people that most affected and changed him and only Kaizaki and his supports will remember. I do not think I have the emotional capacity to detach from that quite easily and Kaizakis romance with Hishiro just made it more emotional. Knowing that in the end they will forget each other to obscurity. I cried a river with that chapter’s hug. A hug you do not want to break away from knowing the next day they will be back to their former selves enriched with the experiences and memories only they keep. Their classmates that they have been with for a year, the trip, and overall, their time spent together fading through histories darkness only having been etched on their own.
This story is a good romance two ways to one. Learning to love yourself and another and this series has done it so well I think its up there with Koe no Katachi or a Silent voice. Kaizaki and Hishiro loved themselves and then others and changed for the better something all of humanity want is to be better even if you are the most heinous person alive.
The scene where Arata Kaizaki and Chizuru Hishiro met at that bar just made me the happiest person and saddest person alive for a second knowing they found each other once more and me knowing this great story has ended. In the manga So Yayoi illustrated their meeting so well having remembered each other through their numerous experiences and time spent together. Honestly if the manga ended there I might be more depressed than I am more now (that’s where it ended in the film) but the epilogue is a godsend and it made me the happiest manga reader for a moment. I love them both and it is nice to think they settled down and lived on.
This manga changed me for the better and looking forward I wish to be a better person just like how these two did and someday maybe I’ll get to experience that with someone else, a significant other.
For now ReLIFE my experience with you ends here.
If you are a fan of this series I highly recommend A silent voice, koe no katachi, I sold my life for 300,000 yen and your name.
Now is there an existing merch shop for this series or do I have to scour Japan for it?

Ok so you probabbly thinking this manga is going to be those one trashy romcoms out there where they take 140 chapters just to confess to oneanother. Oh boy you are wrong. This manga takes things to a new perspective were a girl is the one who is thinking, the protagonist. I saw many romcoms where a dense guy character is the pov. This one has a neet busty onee san in her near 30's fantasizing everything that makes her h0řny and in her case, a 17 year old highschool boy. This manga is great for all genders considering the protagonist a girl and the
...
other one is a guy and the writer does their characters amazingly.
This manga shows genres I didn't see executed so well before. A female neet protagonist nailed it, an interesting backstory nailed it, and of course the age gap. They also nailed eachother 😏.
Its so refreshing to see an adult relationship with an age gap. Its unique in my eyes since all I see is highschool romcoms EVERYWHERE.
I know couple of friends in real life that has huge age gaps relationships and this nailed it on how they feel at their first few months. Anxiousness, fear of loss, legal terms (OC) I literally know someone right now as I type this review a 17 year old guy in a relationship with a 25 year old woman) family approval and experience in dating as a whole. That new layer of plot adds to what the characters feel and this manga stays true to it. The age is such an interesting point in this manga and the reason I love it. On how they will soon turn out and what conflicts they may encounter.
I already love trashy romance manga's and anime's and this is one of the best reads I ever read so far. I love the writing so much and how attached I got to the characters and how they feel. It feels surreal and genuine at the same time.
The art is great but can do better but it suffice and still amazing. Eroko San is so hot and so is Hisoka I think I might be bi after this series ends. Also hand holding is not the only thing you will see here, wink wink. Yes I am looking at you doujinshi lovers and cultured men and women you will certainly like this part of the manga.
Characters are already with the story and art I'm still madly in love with them though.
I enjoyed this serialization way too much I finished 24 chapters in 3 hours. It's that enjoyable for me. Every chapter is new and interesting it will make you go read it. The cultured way of art also brings me back, wink wink.
I will edit this review once it gets another 30 chapters or so or when its finished. Either way if you made it this far to my review congrats you read my obsession journal to this manga.
It is a must read for people looking to a refreshing romance. 10/10 indeed. Also I love onee sans. Onee sans love and protect. Ja na!

So yeah I read this in Feb. 22 2021 1am-1:51am. I need to say that after finishing the series it left me and tears and ponder. Is life really worth living? Without a hint of purpose or will would I rather just sell it to some business. For people who already feel worthless I am truly sorry but me I just wonder. What would I choose (not the characters just me) 30 years of pain 30 days of downright happiness or 3 days of eternal joy. It made me think for 2 straight days even with me having an exam while typing this review. That's
...
one thing about manga it makes me think.
Art 10
The monotone simple art emphasize the story very much like the novel. Miyagi is beautiful some of the panels are made incredibly.
Character 10
The story itself answers that question but its THEIRS not mine or yours. On how they handled that love truly is worth living three days for without leaving a mark on the world. I know that I will do the same when I find someone like that.
Enjoyment 10
I had exams the next day (12:00 in the afternoon) and I read this at 1:00 am - 1:51 am and finished it you can see that I enjoyed it very much. Very very much that I didn't sleep for it and just cried.
Like f this manga bro it broke me because its way too good.
I got lazy going add more to this in the future.

This review has MAJOR as in MAJOR plot spoilers so beware of reading my review.
So there's that I finished this manga in less than two hours and all I can say is that I don't care what anyone thinks this is still one of the greatest NTR sad ending manga. I can say that I relate to this manga by a lot by on smaller scale. I moved on with someone then she moved on from me so that's one. The next thing is the story. There are a few plot holes like the father and that girl who had a crush on Kyo. I'm
...
kind of a fan on NTR so I guess that's one of the reasons too. The betrayal the lack of feelings and lackluster decisions seems surreal. He has reasons to be an emotionless dude who doesn't have feelings for his girlfriend who is pure and loves him very much. Sa Chan getting cucked and still accepting Kyo really what hits me the most. There is no way they would last I know it the moment Kyo confessed his cheating to Shino. She puts up with it because a long lasting relationship like that and then throwing it in the bin is what uncomfortable or weird? She's confused and doesn't want to get hurt at all. But she did and she puts up with it for a small chance but it didn't work which is to be expected. They broke up and he learned from his own mistakes but he learned it late whilst Sa Chan moved on and learned the better. She broke up with him and moved on. Married that guy who comforted her when Kyo broke up out of the blue and has 2 healthy looking kids. Man Kyo I relate to you so much. Even I can't move on from my last love. So yeah the NTR, break ups and the realization is what brought me to think this is a masterpiece. I am a sucker for romance and also an NTR sucker so I try to keep it balanced. A must read for people with problems dealing with affairs, insecurity and worthlessness. You are worth more than you think. A MUST READ MANGA it's an NTR with 5 centimeter per second plot.
Edit 6/25/2021
Don't cuck your relationships. Live a straight forward life.
I am once again crying from this manga.
