I had to drop this at chapter 20. I'm not sure what it is about this manga but everything seems so incredibly....bland? The art, paneling, story beats, characters, etc. There is an underlying mystery but honestly it wasn't strong enough to make me want to stick around at all. This may be better for somebody else but nothing in this story up to chapter 20 really clicked for me. After every page I felt an "eh" come from within like nothing was impressing me despite it being so highly ranked. It is possible that it gets better and I'm missing on the best parts of ... the story. However, if the rest of the story is similar to how the first 20 chapters are, then I'm not interested in continuing.

This story almost seems like it is AI generated. The story beats, romance baits, and general romance troupes are over played and lackluster. There is nothing original about this story despite it being praised by the community as being a 'good' romance. It is so obvious what is coming in this story from episode one. Maybe if you are a sucker for cliche romance and only care about the relationship between the main female/male lead, then sure this might be enjoyable? Dropped it because everything is extremely dull. The main female lead is such a bland character that it is hard for me to see ... what the MC even likes in her. Maybe it is because he is a bland character himself? Anyway, bad anime, bad animation (esp during the sports parts), and lack luster main leads. The supporting characters are way more interesting than the two leads which is a shame.

I wouldn't bother watching this show. I gave it a shot and at the end....nothing happened. It's the same old issue with harems where the author wants to continue making it so none of the characters ever commit to anything. I haven't read the manga so maybe some things change, however trust me when I say that NOTHING happens this entire series. The characters don't get fleshed out at all. The MC seems interesting and different at the beginning of the series but slowly turns into a sack of nothingness that most all harem MCs are. The girls are just average as well. I have ... NO idea why Sachi is even involved in this story. She adds nothing to the harem at all and it seems like she is just in here to kill time.

My god...Why have I not heard of this series before or hear anybody talking about it? The story is thrilling, the characters more complex than your typical romance manga, and the art is amazing. This story is a real page turner. Every chapter just keeps getting more twisted and more questions are raised...well until the end. Everything is really condensed and it fits nicely into this little story.

If you like dark romance stories, this is a must read. I don't often say a series is underrated but this one is for sure. I'm glad I randomly found this since I never hear anybody talk about ... it.

While I think I did overall enjoy this and think it tackled it's major themes presented, I think the ending was seriously rushed. I feel like when the big reveal happens, Niki turns 180. Then turns another 180 when the MC rescues her from the cabin. It's like Niki didn't have time to properly develop into her own character if that makes sense. The way she acted was understandable but I feel like we needed a deeper dive into her head. Also, I feel like the ending is extremely rushed. Yes, it gets its point across but it would be nice to have the two ... MCs learn to live with reveal after the fact. We get very little dialogue between the two after they both find out the big reveal. I can't give it anything over a 7 because of that of that and think I am probably overrating it then even. It's a fine and quick read but seriously rushed

Typical Rom Com Harem anime. Everything is pretty cliché. Between the first 20 or so chapters and the last ending route chapters....it is basically all filler. Not much plot wise happens. It is basically episodic at that point. Each chapter focusing on one girl who the MC gets a little closer to. They both blush because something flirty happens between them but then just nothing happens. I swear you can skip 100+ chapters of this manga and still understand the ending routes. I am also not a fan that the author couldn't decide which girl he would end up with and just added an ending ... for all of them. Some of the girls are interesting but they basically all fall into the cookie cutter quirky personalities that most harem girls fall into. The only girl that really stands out is Fumino and because she was a better and more fleshed out character, her ending was probably also the best one. The only points I will give this is that the art was pretty good the whole series. Otherwise, if you are looking for anything unique this is not the series to do so with, almost nothing happens.
