There's nothing interesting about me; I'm a boring, standard human with a boring, standard life. I'm middle aged, I have kids, I'm unable to work (hopefully temporarily,) and I'm too poor for interesting hobbies. But I have all the good things good humans usually have - empathy, curiosity, a sense of justice... boring, standard stuff.

I like reading, not just manga/manhwa/webcomics/etc, but very much including it. I like watching good shows and interesting movies. I like learning about animals & nature. I'm super interested in dreams (on the side of lucid dreaming & the science of it, not so much dream meanings.) And like most people, I like music, food, and self expression.

I like a bunch of different manga, a lot of commonly loved ones like JJK and Madoka Magica, or old classics like Chobits and Cowboy Bebop, and then some more out there stuff like Dog Ningen or Go Daedongmulgi. If it's interesting, I'm in. If it's got amazing art, I'm in. If it's weird af, I'm in. For some reason I can't really get into historically based stuff though... and I can't explain why.

Anime is the same, though I have way less time for anime so I watch way less and my list of loves is shorter. I've never been a fan of judging an anime for technical things like frame drops or not going above and beyond for fight scenes, or whatever. Something doesn't have to be super high quality for me to enjoy it, it just has to have the story and at least one character I can emotionally get hooked on. The rest is just bonus.

Politically, I'm left. Very left. And I definitely have no time for people who would happily go along with anything that tramples on the basic human rights, freedoms, or dignity of any human. I'm also incredibly stubborn, have that 'autistic sense of justice' and have very little aversion to getting involved directly, so... I'm 100% convinced end game is gonna go badly for me.

Away from politics, I have strong opinions, but I'm also very much aware they're my opinions so I'm not bothered about defending them beyond discussions. I enjoy a good bit of slander if it's funny but I'm not too bothered about getting involved myself because I guarantee people wouldn't enjoy my takes. Using JJK as an example, my hatred for Nanami Kento and utter disdain for the majority of Modulo would get me flogged probs.

Sexuality? Eugh... everyone's always so bothered about that...
I'm ace... and yet not. You want an almost 100% accurate microlabel? Aegosexual. Panromantic. That pretty much gets it spot on. Though nearly nobody's labels really get them 100%, cause ain't 2 people on Earth the same.
Whatever the case, I'm not interested in relationships. Especially with men. They're are SO many good ones, but I'd prefer not to deal with the masses of bad ones to find them any more. As for women, I'm not interested purely because I can absolutely just go without cuddles and kisses, finding a great person for that is more hassle than it's worth. Sharing life is so chaotic. I'm happy enough on my own.

And that's about as much as I'm gonna ramble. If you read all that, you're a masochist of the highest order.
