I almost never write reviews, but this show was so bad I decided I had to. I loved, absolutely loved, season 1. This season crapped all over that. The main problem is the pacing; they tried to cram too much into too little time. As a result, the character arcs are garbage, and you don't connect to any of the new characters. The development of magic system, which also needs way more time to fully explore, is rushed, and left me feeling like the grasp I had on it during season one now makes no actual sense since apparently now it's also mixed with religion

I'll keep it short and sweet. The game is fantastic, go play that and skip this, because the difference between them is night and day. The anime has: terrible music, bad animation, poor characters, and a seriously rushed plot (that deviates from the game to a greater or lesser extent depending on the episode). The lack of the games music was a huge negative, and the characters were portrayed so flatly and poorly that I couldn't be bothered to see if the later episodes actually depicted them well or not.
