MC is your heroine who cares deeply for her classmate who is accident prone. He soon becomes her crush and she goes to great lengths to show care and concern for him. At first, being clueless and dense, he disregards her attempts and they form a bond on ‘living an ordinary high school life.’
Soon he starts to realize his feelings (or jealousy) for the heroine and his demeanor changes. A nice change of pace from the usual comedy mishaps that happen throughout the show.

I was locked in from beginning to end. Only reason i did not score as high as other anime shown in theaters was the lack of screen time. It is 30 minutes (episode 1) with an hour of interviews from yasuomi umetsu and SHAFT staff after. In US, so expected a full run time movie, but got a taste of what could be. Chainsaw man never disappoints on nonstop story telling and action, and never was a dull moment. This part focuses on MC juggling his feelings between what he has and a ‘what if’ with his new love interest. The build up between both creates an intense climax, even the side characters add an extra layer of drama, and you will love (or hate) them for being there. A beautiful story of passion and love for what you do. I came in looking for romance and funny situations between MC and his heroines, but left with a lot of heart warming moments. At first the story is very rom com but quickly turns into a great story. Life bringing and finding friends that enjoy what you do, and never letting that fire go. Really inspiring even if you don’t cosplay, but the cosplay shows how deep you can love a particular art! The story being a reminder that you should always love your passions and stay true to what you love to do.
