Both are good short stories about children and both made me cry a little bit. They are fairly different from each other though I do think if you enjoyed one you'd enjoy the other.

Buna no Mori no Aria

Both are stories about young human witch girls with little to no power (to begin with at least). Buna no Mori is much more slice of life and sweet. Tongari Boushi no Atelier focuses more on the magic and adventure

Both stories are a BL arranged marriage between a prince/noble from a frigid country and a prince from an arid one. Both have a significant age gap between the love interests, with the prince/noble from the frigid country being older. Nothing romantic happens between the couples until they're each older.

Both are gorgeous short stories (2 volumes, 10/11 chapters) revolving around the protagonists relationship with a girl whom has chronic illness or disability. The girls both come into the protagonists lives by mere chance and become a huge part of them going forward. The story telling style and pacing of each remind me of each other but are nonetheless distinct from the other. Both also have anime film adaptions. Both are a little sad though Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai is sadder

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto

Both are stories about a girl with medical talents mixed up with and employed by royalty. Both each to some extent have romantic relationships with a prince and both are kinda slow burn. Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is set in a more western kingdom whereas Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is more eastern. Kusuriya no Hitorigoto has some more mature topics in comparison generally speaking.

Both gorgeous works by Rei Toma and are set in the same world. Whilst they are set in the same world they are entirely separate from one another. The species "Ajin" is carried through both series. The King's beast focuses much more on the Ajins though both series feature them prominently.

Both series revolve around girls who are separated from their homes, leading them to live very different lives, and are sacrificed for their country. Both have love triangles including the main love interest being cold and lacking understanding of love to begin with. Both heroines have pink hair and blue eyes and overall in personality remind me a lot of each other.
