Im very mixed on this anime. I dont see the point of it. only 2 episodes? no setup is payed off. Like the girl in the beginning asks if she can come visit again, but never does. The show the main character having a gun a lot of times, but she never uses it or has any need to. Maybe this is more developed in the manga. but the anime seemed to be more interested in showing the pretty visuals.
The visuals are pretty, lots of nice shots, beautiful backgrounds. But some shots linger a bit too much. The episodes are 30 minutes, but i ... feel like it could easily be cut down to 20 if the shots didnt linger so much.
There is barely any sound or background music. the ones that are there are fine.

Im very mixed with this season. i feel like the story flowed a bit more in the first season. This season started with a flashback episode and the last episode was also a flashback, so there were basically just 11 episodes.. and most of those episodes were in one single golf tournament, so the pacing felt veeeery slow.. It has its good moments still, tombo still great, the other characters introduced also have nice backstories and are relatively well developed. The art style was fine, like the first season, still using cgi for the golf shots, but it was less noticeable this time around. If ... you liked the first season, you will probably like this season too, is not as good as the first, is slower, but its good overall

The first arc was awesome, the first five episodes were great, borderline masterpiece, very emotional even. but then it all went downhill from there. I felt like watching one piece, like it was the dressrosa arc all over again.. so many pointless fights.. seems like they just wanted to show everyone fighting everyone, no plot progression, just 15 episodes of pure fighting, more and more people keep showing up to fight, and most of the people awaken new power and new final forms during fights.. is sooo tiering.. reminded me of the alabasta fight, again in one piece, where one in world second took 2 ... whole episodes to happen. or the final season of "how i met your mother" that spends who knows how many episodes in a single weekend, or even the naruto war arc that spent god knows how many episodes for a war that lasted less than 3 days. but somehow even the war felt more entertaining than those 15 episodes. because at least in naruto, the story was moving forward, they were learning stuff. but here, it was just one fight after the other, no time to cool down, no progression, no stakes, too many fake out deaths. the animation was pretty good though. but still. At least the over the board, annoying, out of place, obnoxious comedy from the first season is mostly absent, so that is also a plus.

I don’t understand what people see in this anime. The CGI extras in the background are so bad. Also, Mizuno and Azumi are so awkward; they shouldn’t be together—they can barely speak to each other. Every scene with them together makes me cringe. I was rooting for Nishio to end up with Azumi. She would be so much better for him; she’s a lot more expressive and talkative, and they would work out better. Also, Mizuno and Hira would be a much better match for the same reason. Some plot points never go anywhere. In the first episode, Azumi got some sort of ero magazine ... from the shop, and it never came up again. The author said he had no talent for writing and should write light novels instead, but that author also never appears. The only good thing I can say is that the main couple actually kissed before the last episode—multiple times. At least Azumi wasn’t afraid to touch her hand and kiss her.
