This thought was my first thought about 30 minutes into the show. It was calming, good, and honestly very enjoyable, watching our protagonist struggle with the most basic thing because of her youth trauma that made her very shy as she grew up, combined with the extremely good animation and story of the anime, making all the jokes and funny moments land perfectly.

In my opinion, the least strong point of the story is the story itself. I know 12-episode anime have to condense stuff a lot; that's where the plot falls ... a bit short, but the characters aren't that bad or uninteresting aside from not being "that" deep and still having annoying, unimportant side characters like most school setting stories have. While still having a few interesting ones. Even then the story itself is pretty much one-dimensional; our witch has to defend the prince. That's pretty much it, with each episode being an event leading to her growth.

This anime is basically Bocchi the Rock with an overpowered mage, and I love it. It's gorgeous and funny, and even though it's not perfect, it's doing what it wants to do quite perfectly while also being very different.

It was also interesting to see our main character's mental growth progressively getting less shy (although not perfectly); I still think it was executed relatively well.

The 13th episode ties up loose ends well while still setting up a good premise for a future next season, which I will also review when it comes out, in the meantime I will be reading its manga as the story caught my interest relatively well.

(Also the animation of the spell at the end of the first episode was crazy and gave me chills)

I shall then give it a 8/10 which equals to a silver door in my ratings (See profile for more information/reviews)

I hated the antagonist, it felt forced, bad and that it honestly made no sense for me. the rest of the story is fine but Sioux, Mary was honestly the worst thing that happened to the story, I know the god is giving her more powers but it feels like she just got that powerful with full control over her powers instantly and that the author wanted to have an antagonist for the sake of having one, there is nothing wrong with her in of itself but also how she is blinded by rage also makes her very one sided. I am hoping to ... see her growth in the next season alongside with maybe some other characters development that we have been lacking (About all of them.) .Honestly the movie was closer to a 9 otherwise but this ruined it for me giving me my rating of 8.

That aside, the animation is very good and the start was very satisfying but it annoys me how little we learned about the magic system in this movie again, I wish that next season gives us a bit more of that. The end of the movie was pretty good in isolation, it really showed us the consequence of the war. That aside, I am hopeful for the next season as the war will, once again, escalate.

In my opinion a story is good when it manages to make you feel bad for the person that it made you hate through the story, when it manages to make you hold your breath in its most intense moments and feel sadness and joy often mixing them together as you realize that no one will be victorious in the end.

Imagine this dilemma, your world has been overrun by what our culture has decided to call zombies due to a drug that was supposed give people the ultimate wish of the powerful, a longer life, often called immortality, in a few short months, the earth ... becomes a shell of what it once was and by that time another solution is developed, the DLS, a little device that becomes one of the only key to escaping the hell that became earth.

This tool allows the user to travel to another parallel dimension, exactly similar to earth that we will now call earth 1 to this parallel dimension called earth 2.

Now there is only one issue, since its a parallel world, you will meet your parallel self which shouldn't pose issue, you can just avoid him right...

No, the world will reject two of the exact same person in the same world, you will have to commit the sin of killing your parallel self.

Pushed to the limits, which decision will you take to ensure your survival...

This is where this piece of arts gets me, there is only one path to survival and it is to kill, sacrificing one's life to save another.

Will you really blame someone who got everything stolen from him if he steals the life of someone who lived in peace his whole life.

Door of the abyss opened.

Made in abyss has one of the best world building I have seen in a while in the manga/anime sphere, it truly feels out of this world and manages you to immerse you in it, it feels mystique and mysterious and even at the latest chapters we only have a grasp of what it could hide.
The art is pretty good and gets even better as the story progresses and the feeling of grandeur only gets amplified as the story progresses, the world is truly living whether our characters are part of it or not.

One critique that could be made to Made ... in abyss are the sexual representations of minors at multiple times, while I agree this is weird and it also annoys me (Some argue that its related to made in abyss world but I don't fully agree while there is ¨some¨ merits to this.)

It is for these reasons that I give the manga a 9/10 or a golden door based on my ratings.

What a masterpiece if I may say, a manga related to the love of books, because if there is one thing that I love to a very high extent its clearly books, even if doors are my favorite, books are also perfect, and Toshokan no Daimajutsushi understands it very well, from the start our mc is also in love with the books, the art is insane to be expected from a monthly release manga and it even has fantasy in it, the world has an organisation that has one major job and it is to protect the books and preserve the knowledge of magic and ... stuff.

So according to my ratings

1/10 Devil door: Disaster of a manga/anime with terrible plot, acting, and production. A true blasphemy against doors.
2/10 Cursed Door : This manga/anime is severely flawed, with major issues in story and execution. A crime against door.
3/10 Ominious Door: This manga/anime has significant problems that are hard to ignore. It's more frustrating than enjoyable, a true attack agaisnt doors.
4/10 Wood Door: This manga/anime has many holes in its plot and characters, leading to an overall disappointing experience considered as an insult against door.
5/10 :Stone Door This manga/anime is mediocre with some watchable moments but largely forgettable. It does the job but lacks excitement, they are tolerated by doors at best.
6/10 Metal Door: This manga/anime is average with a mix of good and bad elements. It's watchable but nothing special.
7/10 Bronze Door: This manga/anime is generally good with some flaws. It’s enjoyable and has some appealing elements.
8/10 Silver Door: This manga/anime is very good, well-made, and entertaining. Minor issues don't detract from its overall quality.
9/10 Golden Door: The series is excellent with strong characters, plot, and production. Highly recommended for its high quality.

This manga is a golden door, the plot is strong, the art is very good and the side characters are basically also main characters.

Why to be honest, the animation is meh at best, it doesn't even follow the prologue of the original manwha, really the only positive is the few moments where we see the pixel art. these moments are not bad but like oh man the models are low quality, we dont see the synthesis of the 4 star hero we only see Jenna getting summoned then the 2 protagonists fighting, also the fairy girl is opposite colors that she is supposed to, well that is non important I must say, and mc just says his account id randomly and the girl is like whatt and ... its not even developped upon.

I mostly feel sad because if they just had given the storyboard a bit more love it could have been fine.

While it is very short it is also quite good, I must say this is a pretty good collaboration and that assasin's creed Valhalla and Vinland saga make a good match no matter if I like the game or not, it was fun to see the main character from ac Valhalla (which I forgot the name) in a manga art-style even tho I think that he only won because he paid for the unicorn boat skin otherwise Thorfinn would have won the fight, no really that skin is pay to win also Thorfinn looks funny in this oneshot (I have nothing left to ... say).

This is really one of the oldest reincarnation novel but its still manage to stay quite fine, like yea, its not super original, but its a good read, the art is not bad the abilities system with runes is quite interesting and since our mc is limited to only a few of them it will be fun to see how this works out later on, I can really see this becoming one of the big Manwhas because it just feels quite good to read, 7.5/10 I like it and will continue to see how it develops

Meh, its pretty mid, nothing good for it but not much bad things, a good 6 star fine - average, the story is about a little girl from an orphanage which gets kinda like adopted by a noble, its like most of these stores bot much else, I will update this review when I finish it for now its pretty mid but the art is quite fine, well what is to be expected for a webtoon or a webtoon like read. The classic noble story but this time the protagonist gets adopted and isn't born as a noble which was often abused as a child.

When I opened this door onto the world of Spirited Away, I was pretty impressed by a few things, first of, the thing you see at the first sight, the animation, are you really telling me this piece of art is 20 years, old, well I am impressed, this was so beautiful the characters are full of personality and the world is very bizarre in many ways, I wont spoil much but its really an interesting universe to get in, I just dont really like Chihiro at certain moments it kinda felt like she was a bit away from reality but I only felt like ... that a bit at the start because as the movie went on I was too focused on the movie itself, even if this movie is made for kids it still has some good ideas that made me still have fun watching this movie

9/10, very good I liked the scene were they ate, absolute banger of an animation I paused the movie and went eating.
