With you, our love will make it through is so much more than just a simple love story between two star crossed lovers. It's not JUST Human x Beast person.

It's a story about overcoming obstacles, finding friendship, kinship and utilizing those to challenge thoughts and ideals.

It's all of this wrapped up in some very cute animation styles, gorgeous eyes and other shojou type elements.

The voice acting for the guys hits absolutely perfectly, especially the MC. Comedic elements and visual gags from the manga are visually brought into the anime with great effect.

While the series does have a minorly shaky start, once it ... finds its footing pretty early on it absolutely smashes it out of the park. And the ending is perfect even if there isn't another season to cover the rest of what's in the manga.

If you're a furry, interested in anthro content this anime is an absolute must. If you're into shojou, looking for something unique in anime, this anime is worth a four to five episode try. Do not listen to the naysayers, alot of them are judging this anime solely on the beastperson x human with their own prejudices and should not be trusted!

The art style is very cute and refreshing and it's very clear that the artist wanted to write something giving them an excuse to draw girls in as many different bikini's and similar outfits as possible. And that's the only good thing about JK Splash!

Beyond the above it's a vapid, empty shell with nonsensical storyline and predictable plotlines serving nothing but an excuse to get these girls in as many fanservice-y sequences as possible. But it is cute though, and makes for good art reference material. As each of the characters is identifiable from one another so it's not same-face moeblob syndrome. So it ... has that going for it. I guess.

Read it for the art. Not the storyline.

This manga is like if Junji Ito and Quentin Tarantino joined forces and decided to do a yuri with both of their fetishes and sick and twisted stylizations on full display.

The plot and characterizations are bland, confusing and clearly only a vessel for an excuse to have some very odd situations with specific angles focusing on one specific body part in most cases. There is no satisfying conclusion either.

The very scratchy style and almost horror like facial expressions are distracting rather the complimentary. Granted, there's not much to complement in a manga where it's whole premise is around shock and awe. Or maybe ... the manga was just created to generate memes. Because there sure are a lot of panels with incredible memeablity.

If you're a fan of yuri specifically give this one a hard hard pass. If you're a fan of manga in general, its a likely pass. If you're into feet and horror. Then maybe this niche and arguably messed-up manga is for you.

This is very much yuri written and drawn more with the cis-male gaze in mind, or at the very least has been drawn more in a full-send NSFW doujinshi style, when the scenes are of that type. The unfortunate paradox is that outside of the H-scenes the manga seems to have a completely different style and feel to it. It's almost as if someone threw some hard and heavy H scenes just to fill the "sex sells" quota.

This unfortunate dichotomy between what is seemingly trying to be a serious story versus just being PWP, leads to something that is diffucult to enjoy. Which is ... an incredible shame as the character designs all seem to be well thought out and when they hit, is good.

There's also a level of confusion as there's a B-plot with two completely different characters that drops in out of nowhere and makes this feel like a anthology collection for a moment.

Most readers will probably not *hate* this manga but few will feel satisfied or otherwise enjoy it.

It's an interesting bait and switch methodology for getting your childhood crush to fall in love with you. Overall the manga so far seems like it's trying to do ALOT at once, part NTR (but not exactly...), part sweet, part ecchi all at once. There's a possibility this will all come together in a wonderful way but, that's yet to be seen.

A major gripe is that the main love interest doesn't exactly react as one would typically expect. It could be there's a yet to be determined storytelling reason for this but, it's an aspect that pulls one out. The main protaganist however, is ... exactly as one would expect for a more tomboyish gal.

The characters are cute and the art and expressions are lovely, so if nothing else it's an enjoyable read for that aspect!

This manga is the absolute cutest thing ever and all of the character designs are especially a treat. The anthro designs are nicely varied and seeing some avians and other non canine animals was a huge plus. Plus the fact that there's alot of lovely colour illustrations is a great bonus. The story has some unexpected but wonderful twists as well, and there's a sense of growth from both characters in such a short span.

The biggest downside to this manga is the lack of accessiblity for english readers so far, with no complete translation available for it. Which is a shame as it's the only ... furry yuri out there at current.

I was brought to this anime as it's one of the earliest with the "Girls Love" tag, and if you're here for that, 180 and walk the frith away. Don't even go "Well I wanna watch it for completionism." Just don't

Does this anime have GL/Yuri in it? Yes, in the first episode and it features all of the bad tropes we now recognize as being kinda problematic, even for anime. If you're not coming into it specifically for that, It's okay to mediocre. It has some comedic moments of crass humour and enough spicy scenes to keep you titillated, especially if you view it ... through the lens and recognize that this is a 1994 anime with all the cheese that comes with the 90s.

The second episode is a much more straight forward plotline, not as crazy as the first episode and, is actually kinda cute in a weird way.

Voice acting is solid for the time period, the animation however is at times, kinda bad, even for the time period. Alot of inconsistencies with the faces and eyes especially.

In short, this anime falls between the "Mixed Feelings" and "Not Reccomended" tag, especially if put through the lens of "its 1994 bro, of course its kinda bad. But it's put as Not Reccomended because of how absolutely frustrating the GL/Bi rep was in the first episode.

A lovely blend of fanservice and cuteness in just the right amounts, all packaged up in a visual treat. While this anime won’t make you come to any life-changing epiphanies, it will provide a joyful amount of enjoyment across all spectrums of typical anime spheres. Unless you absolutely hate fan-service or need blood and gore in your anime, this one is worth a try for sure.

There is fanservice in this anime, yes. However it's in very modest amounts, and doesn’t feel out of place or incredibly forced to the narrative. It's also considerably front loaded and diminishes as the season goes on. It also ... comes with it some very prettily drawn elements of clothes and bodies, ones that would be inspiring to an artist or mangaka.

Everything else illustratively in One Room is stellar, from the expressive eyes to the variations between characters. It’s not a masterpiece by any stretch, however it doesn’t need to be. That said, the backgrounds and landscapes could do with a bit more variety, but that feels like nitpicking for what this anime is.

Probably the biggest surprise of this anime is how well the voice casting and voice acting is. Lines delivered by all have a strong sense of emotion behind them, and the voice for the female MC in particular is perfect.

Storyline wise, this isn't a masterpiece or a thought provoking grand epic, but that's to be expected for an anime in this genre. And while it does get somewhat harem-ey, its nowhere near as bad as it could have been.

This series is worth a try for the first four episodes, and if you love it or like it, keep watching. If you don't then it's not for you and that's okay!

Pocha Climb represents the best that Yuri and manga overall has to offer and the only negative aspect of this story is that it was too short, (And that's not even the mangaka's fault, it was cut by the publisher due to low sales of the first volume.). Regardless of the prior parenthesis, the mangaka did an amazing job in wrapping up the story in the second volume.

Artistically, the only real issues stem from the MC being referred to as "chubby" but this not being shown as well as it could be, even by most manga standards. Sure, compared to her super skinny love interest, ... she could be seen as wider, but that's more a body type than her actually being "chubby". Otherwise, the art is all fantastic. Nothing is spared or shied away from, especially with all the awkward angles and poses from climbing, the climbing gear and overall fashion. The world feels full with crowd shots and details on the climbing walls, there's even some unique "camera" work done in some panels while the girls are climbing.

Storyline wise, you can tell there was meant to be so much more exploration of the characters in this manga, so many threads and backstories to be fleshed out. It's amazing that the mangaka is able to breathe so much life into characters we only see for a few panels or less. The ending felt rushed, and that's because, as per above, it was. Despite how rushed it is, it provides a satisfying conclusion and the reader isn't left hanging with too many what ifs and speculations for the main storyline. Many more could have been expanded upon, but you'll just have to use your imagination for that (and again, not the mangakas fault, its on the publisher.)

As a bonus, this manga has one of the best dealings with of body image issues I have ever seen in any manga, it's a shame it couldn't have been explored more. Overall, the only reason to not read this manga, is if you hate reading something where you know there could have been more, but there isn't. Otherwise, this manga is a hidden gem among not just Yuri manga, but manga overall. Please give it a chance, and allow yourself to be pleasantly surprised.

I am loathe to give this a 6/10 as it's a whole anthology on Gyaru Yuri which is somewhat underrepresented in the genre. I need to specify that it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great.

To start off, there's alot of mangaka in this where it's their first involvement in a one-shot, and it shows in the storytelling and pacing of the short stories. It's understandable as there's not much to work with in a dozen pages or less, but even still, many of the stories felt rushed in the last two pages to get to a conclusion.

Artistically, they're all solid in design, ... some of them are stronger when it comes to showing off the gyaru clothes than others but there's nothing bad, there's also nothing spectacular about the designs and art either.

The long and short of it is, if you're a superfan of yuri you'll enjoy it, if you're a fan of yuri and an appreciator of gyaru culture you'll enjoy it, if you're only really into mainstream and popular yuri or not really into yuri at all you may not enjoy it. At the end of the day though, it's only one volume, so its a short read.
