I should’ve listened…

You people were doing so well…

Happiness Charge was a solid season in the first half and I was actually enjoying myself. I wouldn’t know how the other half was because I dropped it after 25 episodes according to my MAL.

“Wow, this is a great episode. I hope nothing ruins this series for m- oh. Okay.”

I’m glad I found out that Megumi and Blue never ended up together because I would’ve seriously put this in 21st on my installment ranking list instead of GoGo. But, seriously what were they thinking? I though they were leaving this in the past. WHAT THE HELL TOEI!? YOU ... WERE DOING SO WELL WHY DID YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT?! YOU WERE SO CLOSE!

The concept of this installment is a very cool one. Magical girls dressing up using dress up cards is a very cool idea, and I love how the characters use it in the story. I even really like the outfits that come out of it

One of the other problems is Iona… Izumi Todo has this thing with mid-season cures and TQCs (Third-Quarter Cures). The fourth or fifth cure is usually the worst, rudest, and not very appealed to the other cures. This is also what Doki Doki failed at it! Yay! This is why I hate Makoto (Sword) and Madoka (Ace) and a little in the middle about Towa (Scarlet). Iona just has one-sided beef with Hime because Iona watched her own sister die because Hime opened Pandora’s box or whatever. This makes Iona look like an irrational piece of sh!t.

Cure Honey’s transformation is one of the best things to come out of this installment and nobody can change my mind. HER TRANSFORMATION! NOT HER CHARACTER! Actually, I lied. She was cool.

Hime was likeable in some exhibits. Megumi wasn’t annoying, but I wish she didn’t pull a NozoCoco card on the viewers.

I’d give this series a 4.5. because I enjoyed it up until Blue got involved out of the… grey.
