very poorly made anime (I suppose the novel is better), they will keep the battles as short as possible scared of spending any of their budget. Not only that, the mc is literally some pus*y ahh dumb ahh, weak ahh, average pacifist mc. bunch of bs. The pacing is also very fast, always random characters appearing and dying.
Art was alright, wasn't too crazy but it wasn't bad. I'll give it a solid 6.5/10
But here is one thing, if you like lolis, this show is perfect for you. Prob the only reason so many people watched this was because of the, you-know.

super underrated manga; it is sad that it stopped receiving any updates. I think the reason for that is because the author is focusing on the novel.
Characters: 8.5/10
Every character had their unique personalities displayed well and effectively. You literally can not hate any of the characters in this manga (except the bad guys, of course...). The characters' backgrounds were also very well shown, especially Sword and Verderon Forester. Both had their reasons for their actions, and it was nice to see how they managed to get over their tragic past. Both had a bit of character development as well.
Pacing: 9/10
Very pacing and good story telling;
...
nothing felt rushed and there were no unnecessary doings that would delay the progress of the main story. pleasant world-building too.
Story: 8.5/10
To keep it spoiler-free. The story will not be what you expected it to be. Simply fascinating. sometimes it might be a little cliche.
Art: 9/10
beautiful art from the background details to the sceneries to the buildings and fighting scenes.
Definitely give it a go, it short anyway so you not losing much even if you didn't like it.

oh ma days man, SAO II is making the mandems livid innit.
Plot/Story and Character: 2.5/10
A 10-year-old probably wrote the entirety of this story. Everything just doesn't make sense. They live in a world where technology is so advanced that they have full-dive VRs everywhere; however, I guess this technology budget wasn't used on anything else other than VRs because the whole Japan doesn't have the technology to track one guy in-game and needs a 17-year-old boy to save the day.
The whole plot revolves around Kirito and this new girl, Asada Shino, so that all the other important/main characters, like Asuna, are simply left behind. Well,
...
of course, they need to do this so that this new girl also joins Kirito's harem, and once she joins in, the show just gives up on them and they lose their personalities. Most of the girls in Kirito's harem party are so useless that if you removed them from SAO II, the story would probably run better. Rika, Keiko, and Sugu manage to add nothing to the show and just sit, hug Kirito and say, "WOW, KIRITO-KUN! SUGOI!!!!"
Hmmm, 5 girls might not be enough for Kiriko; how about we add another one: Konno Yuuki. Another one joining the cheer squad for the last 5 episodes (i have no words...)
Pacing: 3/10
The pacing is absolute trash. You thought the time skips during the Aincrad arc and the jump between the Aincrad and fairy land arc in the first SAO were bad? Well, prepare for yourself; SAO II manages to make it even worse. They managed to add in another arc in, so in total, there are 3 arc in 24 episode (Gun Gale Online or Phantom Bullet, Calibur, and Mother's Rosario.) I wish they could dive deeper in the gun world instead of vaguely exploring it, because I was actually interested in the story for the first 2 episode. 50% of the episodes were only talking, all of the information I got from watching 2 people talk for 20 minutes could've done in 2-3 minutes.
Animation/Sound: 7.5/10
The animators and the production team were undeniably good. It kept its quality from the first SAO. The fight scenes were done well, which is why I forced myself to finish this show.
Overall: 4/10
The idea of SAO is really a masterpiece. I really liked the SAO progressive movies (very recommended), where the pacing was actually good and Kirito didn't need his harem cheer squad.
But SAO II is just not it.

oh hell naaaaahhh...
the whole show is about some guy being a wuss that literally cant do anything without his gf. thats literally it.
the M mc (Izumi) is just the type of guy that need his parents to go to the bathroom with him in the middle of the night at the age of 16. YES 16 years old.
the show is so bad i dnt even wanna say their names
Story: 2/10
In every episode is exactly the same generic thing, we will see the male mc not be able to do anything while the his gf does almost everything perfectly, each episode goes like: the M
...
mc (Izumi) gets saved by F mc (Shikimori) , M mc watch F mc does smt cool, M mc goes "my gf is so cool, i cant believe she is my gf."
the anime claim itself as romcom but i dnt see any comedy in this show, it were filled with lame jokes that cant even get you to smirk.
what the directors wanted to do was to portray them as a normal bf and a protective gf but instead they portrayed them as a newborn baby and a dad...
the whole show was cringe, embarrassing, and awkward.
the idea of this show was good, they tried to be original, but they executed in a bad way
Characters: 1/10
there were no character developments, each character are super boring. the only impressive thing the mc has done was cutting onions and everyone went "woooow, no wayyy". to make the M mc feel somewhat useful, the directors purposely made his gf unable to go up the stairs so he had to carry her.
the M mc talk to himself in every episode how he wants to be the one to protect his gf and not the other way around but in the end he refuses to do anything. (well duh since there were no character development, from epi 1 to 12, the little wuss is still being a wuss)
now the background characters: every character are like The Elder Scrolls npc. they spawn in, speak some non-sense, goes away.
the gf's brother only appeared in total of about 3-4 scene, but still did more than the M mc and prob the only character thats watchable/enjoyable.
Animation: 5/10
one of the only decent thing about this show was the art and the animation. it wasnt unpleasant and you can cope with it.
Sound: 7/10
best thing out of this show so...
