They did it again. They switched MC's again. They keep doing this. I think I finally got used to it, it's different, I like it.
This time it's the two little horse girls you saw in Season 2 (Kita and Dia) aka Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond. But as the show progresses you'll notice that it's more focused on Kitasan than Satono.
Again, you'll find the friendly rivalry, sportsmanship, the power of friendship and hardship. A different kind of hardship this time. Admiration, what comes with admiration and idolizing someone, the good and the bad.
There's a hardship that Kita has to face which...I'm not gonna say :)

A Fat Recommendation from me. - SPOILER -
If you watched season 1 you already know what to expect. More horse girl racing, more sweet moments among the team Spica, more sportsmanship between participants/friends/rivals. One of my favorites in Season 1 was Tokai Teio, and she is now the star of the show. No longer Special Week or Silence Suzuka. They're more side characters now. Teio gets the spotlight. And I was fine with that until... ... the Hardship. Yep like last season, this season also has hardships. I found this one by chance.
I have watched Kuroko no Basket, an anime about Basket, a sport that I don't do and I loved it so why not give running a try? An anime a about race horses pretty much. To me the first impression was, a lighthearted heartwarming anime, short and sweet. 13 episodes. And for the most part it was. You follow one horse girl named Special Week and you see her grow, form friendly rivalries and grow through that. Winning, losing, training. I love training scenes, and this one has those. As well as sportsmanship, a LOT of sportsmanship between all the participants ...

Very Good. Would rewatch.
I've watched some anime about volleyball before and basketball and those were great, so why not give football a chance? I was looking for a football anime because there was one when I was still watching TV, but I never caught an episode of that one. However, I remembered that this anime was around so I gave it a shot. Glad I did. I thought it would be the usual "MC's team vs the world", but it's actually more a battle royale. They have to make it work to pass all the tests which cut out the players unfit to reach top level. And ...

It's a romance.
Where as season 1 felt more like a detective series, and 2 felt more action packed, this one feels like a romance. Forbidden love, friendship, bonds in general. And it's really touching to see the characters interact, how they describe their feelings, their thoughts. It feels very poetic in a way. However if you were invested and liked the previous seasons, you will like this one as well. It's cool to see the characters back from the new seasons and the new characters are pretty interesting as well. You will feel for the characters you know and love once more, and you'll be curious ...

Another anime about Man vs Vampire. Another anime take on vampires and I'm all for it.
You like beautiful anime fights?! You follow the MC whose little sister has unfortunately been turned, but he hasn't given up on her and will do anything he can to protect and save her. I liked: The world. It's Man vs Vampire! But it's anime, so you can bet that they have sick powers! The stronger the warrior/vampire, the stronger their abilities. Imma have to recommend it.
The story is similar to what you're used to. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The place where this season takes place is beautiful and the fight...OH MY GODDDDD!! One of the most beautifully animated fight scenes that I've seen! I've re-watched it so many times. It's such a beautiful way to show the "War between Demon and Man" that this has been going on for years and years. And it's a Hashira vs an Upper Moon demon, so you KNOW the battle is going to be sick. And PLEASE, pay attention to our MC and compare it ...

Horror anime! Gore and monsters! In short: What if a human and an alien had to coexist? It's an anime where aliens invade planet Earth and these creatures try to take control over the human body. Our Main Character, he gets attacked and somehow managed to stay in control of the body after the parasite attacked him. But the parasite is now stuck, and the MC is stuck. A show about basketball. And it's pretty good!
Long story short: Once upon a time, kids gifted at basketball were all in a team. And they all excelled in their position. They were called "The Generation of Miracles". That's how good they were. But as they grew older, they split up in different schools, but are reunited through competition between the schools! From Team mates to Rivalry! And you follow an American who comes in contact with each of these gifted players :) And it kept me engaged it was a fun watch. Long, but once sucked in, these episodes fly by.
