This seasons story was trash. I love this show, but wtf I only kept watching out of sheer willpower. From seasons 1-4 I have very little to complain about. Season 5 was a giant loser romcom with great fighting scenes. Its like if you watched a cringe garbage middle school romance but everyone is an adult. The insane disconnect and gear shift from s4 to s5 was some serious whiplash. There was 0 plot progress. You could probably skip this season and not even skip a beat. If this is how it was written in the source material fml go get a fresh pair of ... eyes and a new brain to look at what ur doing cause the writing was trash.

season one was great season 2 was great except for the entire part about the young kids absolute trash so boring. season 3 slow but enjoyable i love the complexity that the story telling and politics bring. the fighting when it happens is a bonus. I have absolutely no interest at all in the "kids part" of the storyline just delete it so the fact that barely anything happened and half the season was the kids in a raid was suuuuuuuuuper disappointing. I expect at some point the anime will pick up but yikes that could take a while.

TLDR if you dont like the ... story about the younger group of kids this season is gona suck for u.

this was bad enough for me to write my first review this is not a harem comedy. I don't consider anime where the main char chooses only one girl in the end, to be a harem because lets face it thats not why i fucking watch these. the MC is the biggest most indecisive douche bag I have ever seen the story is great up untill the middle it gets rly fucking dark i did not sign up for that shit. the "supernatural" is not even rly a big part. if you are watching this because it is a harem "DO NOT BOTHER" this is ... not a all the girls go for all being in love at the same time deal.
