Hot take: I wanna see more seasons.


Really enjoyed the story and characters and Seiya’s journey unfold. Definitely deserves some love over Rent-a-girlfriend. But I suppose that’s just me. This anime is too underrated in my opinion. Really enjoyed the comedic moments and Seiya as a character. Some comedic moments do have an impact on the story instead of being simple jokes so that depends on if you are fine with that. Something about the MC is unique and fresh for me but his “overly cautious” approach to everything can speak for itself.
Overall really good show.
I’d recommend it personally.

The 1st episode is criminally overhated. If You seen Future Diary/Mirai Nikki then the first episode of this anime should mean nothing to you and it shows, this anime really just sets up the theme of this world and its characters. I find they done the theme well personally, I don’t know why people dislike it. When I first saw the episode it really seemed to impact me personally and I found out easily that the tone of the anime’s world is going to be dark, melancholic, hopeless, bleak.

I’d recommend this really, maybe you can find something more meaningful here than me or ... anyone else like any other anime. It’s best to see for yourself anyways. just be careful of a shock scene during the first episode is all. Look away if you have to or want to if it really bothers you.

I’ll start by saying this is a really good manga doing a great job at showing Louis Amamiya’s characterization, if you don’t know about Code Vein’s story you might get lost or confused about what’s going on, but for those who know it’s essentially a retelling of Code Vein story mostly in the perspective of Louis Amamiya, a Carefully Intelligently Logical yet Calm and Compassionate Revenant followed by his two revenant companions; Yakumo and the game’s canon protagonist the “Queenslayer”

This manga is really good at characterizing Louis Amamiya while also mixing the ... same events from the game differently as if it were it a different yet similar universe.
Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a chapter 3-5 of this for some reason and it’s unfortunate. Louis Amamiya is one of my favorite anime characters yet I can’t add him to my favorites because this manga is either unfinished or not updated .

Still I would recommend a read as a new but similar take on the Code Vein lore by mostly the perspective of Louis 👍🏼

Even though. I did not enjoy myself with this, even though I do not like the art style for the characters, even though I do not like the certain unnecessary filler during the movie, even though I do not find this memorable.
I find this meaningful, valuable, interesting, and somewhat entertaining enough that helped me watch through and fortunately I’m grateful to say;

It’s alright who are you, if you’re a human doing good things and doing even more good things and doing better.
just know that with or without the mask it won’t change anything, only you can change yourself.
That as long as your beautiful and ... loving at heart.
you deserve love aswell.

This movie is worth watching.
You may enjoy or learn something here
or just sit back and relax a bit watching
character arcs develop and build until it’s climax. ☕️

Pretty entertaining, immature some moments but mature at others, there’s some interesting moments and events that happened, the characters are interesting,
I’m not a fan of the art style though. And this anime is pretty
forgettable and just not memorable or meaningful enough.
There’s some weird and wacky stuff at the end though
that made me go “oh wow that sure is happening right now. How and why is the possible I don’t know I’m lost and just can only hope there’s a good ending for the characters I cared about because I’m not interested in skynet and their 2012 plans.”

Entertaining I suppose but I don’t know if ... I would recommend this.

It’s just a little better version of Mirai Nikki.
nothing more and nothing less.
Story follows kinda like it.
Hunter Games-like game on a phone
where people actually die except it’s on IPhone instead of a fliphone.
The only characters I like the most from the main cast is
Ryuji Maesaka (the skull masked guy)
He’s very entertaining and likable to me, very underrated, scary on the outside but caring in the inside and has a lot of potential as a character in my opinion (that’s if there’s ever going to be more seasons in which I doubt) and
Rein Kashiwagi, she’s the serious and mature but also the kinda nice and ... smart black hair girl.
She reminds me of Konoha from Orbital Children for some reason.
Those are the only characters I like,
Everyone is to me here is either fine, meh, or bad.

Would I recommend it? I’m not entirely sure. there is some sad moments here though and some dark moments that might catch you off guard. Some unnecessarily sexualized fanservice. And some bad writing but otherwise maybe?
It’s up to you really.

There’s not much I can say that probably already had been said by others. It’s rare for me to cry to such things but this movie when I watched it for the first time was pretty emotional.
I can relate to it more than any other anime and can empathize and feel and understand it more than any other anime.
The sad yet heartwarming story, the relatable and likable characters (except a few bad ones) its just great

From my perspective, the meaning and morals is something most people forgotten what it is and what it’s like nowadays..
And that’s;
Forgiveness and Growth.
Forgiving those who done wrong, hoping they change ... or grow for the better as a person, and forgiving yourself because you also have done wrong.
Growing and improving and focusing on what you can do instead of what you have done that can be for the better for yourself and others. Life, in a way to me, is about being good and removing every bad part of yourself and warning others of their bad parts as well and hope they too can improve themselves morally and forgiving them even if they don’t initially improve or grow. Because growth and improvement can take years and needs excessive time and effort. To know it’s okay to make a mistake and to also know you aren’t perfect either.
That no one is truly higher or lower than anyone if everyone still can make mistakes and errors. that your effort on being better doesn’t make you higher, but also that you not being perfect does not make you lower. And therefore as long as people grow and improve aswell as never being perfect, then nobody is higher or lower than the other. But everyone has a choice to be better and to know better.

Self improvement, forgiveness, love, faith, growth, are just what the world needed, but just know that no matter what mistake you made or how horrible it is; if you changed entirely, strived to change and grow no matter how long it took or how alone it was, if you took the opportunity to be better, to change, to turn away forever what even made you make those choices and what subtly made taught you them. And making sure others don’t turn out the same like you once did, then you are easily forgivable compared to “good” or “normal” people that don’t strive to be morally better or learn more about what’s right and what’s wrong, as long as your willing and striving and fixing everything about yourself, you’ll be better off with or without friends, better off alone knowing your doing better for yourself and other even when so many don’t see it or realize it, even when you forgive them and wish them well when they don’t. Eventually you will see and realize as long as you hold on, you will see and know that you aren’t alone.

(Some things I said here were out of personal perspective and empathy, most things though is general examples or beliefs.)

It’s kinda nice, one of the side characters, Misuzu, is a annoying and pretentious emo written to be nice and somewhat kind hearted just to have sympathy points, the main characters are neat though I suppose, my favorite being Junichirou although some flaws from personal perspective. Other that that, I dunno, like most romance animes it takes awhile for romance to get anywhere especially when there’s constant procrastination and side quests. Ah well. It was enjoyable somewhat when it did get to the point and the main characters grow in their relationship, but it wasn’t worth the wait personally. Story takes awhile, art style and ... comedy is generic anime stuff, meh
