I’d say I’m a fairly active Jujutsu Kaisen viewer. I’ve followed the series from Season 1, Season 2, Movie 0, and even the Gojo–Geto flashback movie. Everything so far has been amazing, and I genuinely love this franchise.
And then… we get this movie.
As someone who rarely goes to the cinema, I actually made the effort to watch this movie in theaters. I even spent around 40,000 IDR (about $3) for the ticket.
And honestly… I was quite disappointed.
Not because the movie is bad—this movie is actually good, and it should be good. What really disappointed me was how much of the runtime is just recap.
Seriously, why
...
is the recap so long?
The movie runs for about 90 minutes (basically one soccer match), and a large portion of it is filled with recap from the later episodes of Season 2 (Shibuya Incident). It honestly felt like more than half of the movie was just summarizing content we already watched.
The main issue isn’t the recap itself, but the lack of transparency.
There was no clear warning in the synopsis or trailers that this movie would be 50–70% recap.
If I had known that beforehand, I wouldn’t have watched this in theaters, especially since I went solo 😁
I won’t spoil anything here.
I just want to be honest: as a theatrical experience, this movie felt not very worth it, especially for viewers who already watched Season 2.
That’s all from me.
Thanks for reading.

You really need to read this review carefully.
Because you have to watch Evangelion at least once in your lifetime.
Preferably when your life is falling apart. 😅
So today I want to talk about an anime that is both old and new—depending on which version you watch. Whether it’s the 90s series or the Rebuild movies, it doesn’t matter.
Why do I say you must watch Evangelion?
Because honestly…
I don’t understand Evangelion.
...
And I have zero intention of digging into its theories, symbolism, religious metaphors, or 40-page fan analysis essays.
And don’t worry, my friends.
If you don’t understand Evangelion, you are NOT alone.
With my monkey brain, I simply cannot comprehend what’s going on either.
And you know what?
I don’t care. 😁
Who is Rei?
Who is Asuka?
Is she a clone or not?
What’s the 14th Angel? The 17th?
What is Instrumentality?
I. Don’t. Care.
What I do love about Evangelion is:
“How the story presents human emotions.”
Not the action, not the mystery, not the robots—
but the raw, messy, fragile emotions of the characters.
After years of being confused by:
The TV ending (a round of applause… and that’s it),
The End of Evangelion (Shinji choking Asuka???),
We finally reached the ending in Evangelion 3.0+1.0…
And at last, my monkey brain went:
“Oh, I get this. Kinda.”
I actually felt relieved.
Evangelion is an original work by Hideaki Anno, who openly said he was depressed and under heavy pressure while making it. And honestly, you can feel that in every frame of the series.
The core story is simple:
Shinji, an insecure kid, is forced by his emotionally distant father to pilot a giant robot (the Eva) to protect humanity from mysterious beings called Angels. But the way Anno portrays Shinji’s fear, pressure, and internal struggle is brutally human.
And Shinji as a character…
hits really hard.
A child given the burden of saving the world?
That portrayal stabbed me right in the heart. 🫡
The first time I watched Evangelion was back in 9th grade, or maybe right before high school.
Back then?
I felt nothing.
I thought it was just an old-school robot anime.
But when I rewatched it recently…
It felt completely different.
Suddenly it had emotion, depth, a soul.
It felt like someone poured their entire heart and pain into it.
Maybe this is also because I’ve been feeling really down lately.
Life has been stressful, my mind’s been all over the place, and somehow I ended up rewatching Evangelion instead of resting. But weirdly enough… after finishing it…
I felt lighter.
Something in it resonated deeply—something I can’t fully explain.
Evangelion is the kind of anime that only makes sense to the version of you that’s hurting.
Maybe that’s why it’s special.
Anyway, that’s all from me.
Thanks for reading 😁

This anime isn’t very popular and honestly, maybe that’s for a reason. 😅
I decided to watch it after seeing someone recommend it on Facebook (can’t remember who though, haha 😁). At first, I didn’t expect much, but I have to admit the visuals are absolutely stunning.
It actually reminded me of Charlotte (2015), and turns out I was right! It’s made by the same studio, P.A. Works. I’ve always respected this studio; they clearly put a lot of effort and passion into their animation quality.
That said, good visuals alone can’t carry an anime. The story is just as important and this is where my disappointment comes
...
in. The plot isn’t bad, but it’s just too ordinary. It feels somewhat similar to Gotoubun no Hanayome, Megami no Café Terrace, or Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi, but it doesn’t quite reach their level in terms of storytelling or emotional impact.
I’d personally give it a 6/10. Maybe that sounds harsh, especially since the average MAL score is around 7.6, but I think it’s fair. The anime is still worth watching especially if you enjoy light romantic stories with beautiful visuals. But for me, it didn’t leave much of an impression.
Honestly, if not for the animation quality, I probably would’ve dropped it early on. 😂
Anyway, that’s all from me. Thanks for reading! 😁

Sakamoto Days… finally! This is an anime I’ve been waiting for for a long time. I read several chapters back during the COVID pandemic, and when I heard the manga was getting an anime adaptation, I was honestly really excited and couldn’t wait.
Well… the animation quality isn’t exactly great, but it’s still enjoyable. That’s also why I’m only writing my review now—because I prefer binge-watching instead of waiting week by week. Hehehe 😁
I’m a little disappointed because the manga’s visuals could’ve been adapted much better. But overall, it’s still fun to watch.
I highly recommend this anime to anyone who enjoys stories about professional hitmen. This
...
series follows a retired assassin who’s trying to live a normal life—but he still ends up being ridiculously cool. The general vibe feels familiar, kind of like John Wick, The Equalizer, or maybe even The Bourne Identity (but without the amnesia lol 😂).
Since it’s an action-comedy, the show delivers tons of hilarious moments. I swear, I was smiling like an idiot while binge-watching it. Wkwkwk 😂
That’s all from me.
Thanks for reading 😁

Simply amazing. What else can I even say about this anime? Zom 100 is genuinely awesome. It’s hard to complain about anything here. The story, the animation, the visuals, the characters, even the opening—everything is top tier. BUG FILMS did an incredible job. Every episode feels like a movie rather than a regular seasonal anime. Visually, I would even say it’s on the same level as Ufotable’s works. Yes, that good.
As for the story… man, it’s painfully relatable. 😂
The anime centers on Akira Tendou, a corporate slave working brutal hours under endless pressure from his boss and clients. He spends two years enduring this miserable
...
life without ever enjoying himself or experiencing romance. Sure, there’s Ootori-san, the beautiful coworker he secretly likes, but… well, when you're a corporate zombie, even getting enough sleep is already a luxury.
Because his life is so depressing, Akira literally wishes for the apocalypse just so he doesn’t have to go to work. And unbelievably, his wish comes true. One morning, a sudden zombie outbreak hits the city! While running for his life, Akira realizes this disaster is actually a blessing—no more office, no more overtime, no more toxic boss. Freedom at last.
From there, Akira decides to create a list of “100 things I want to do before I turn into a zombie.” From confessing his feelings, partying, to traveling across Japan—there are tons of funny, heartfelt, and sometimes painful moments that reflect how tragic his previous life was.
As for the heroine, Shizuka Mikazuki—she’s sweet, cool, athletic, and definitely waifu material.
And to wrap things up:
For all of you still stuck in the corporate grind… please don’t hope for a zombie apocalypse just to get a long vacation, okay? 😂 Work properly, stay healthy, and keep your spirits up!
Thanks for reading!!

Huge warning right from the start!
This anime isn’t just a hentai. It’s on a level that goes way beyond common sense, and in my opinion, it’s one of the most extreme titles from the early 2000s. If you’re someone who gets disturbed easily, gets grossed out, or gets mentally shaken—do not touch this anime. Seriously.
The story revolves around Hirasaka Ryuji, a gynecologist who is… how do I put this… morally broken, obsessive, and clearly not mentally stable. Not “weird” in the usual sense, but uncomfortable to the point of disturbing. He’s not the kind of character you root for—he’s the kind that makes you say:
“What
...
on earth is wrong with this guy?”
The entire setting takes place in a hospital, with nurses and other staff inevitably getting dragged into his twisted world. Even though this is a hentai, the plot is not lazy. There’s drama, manipulation, psychological pressure, and situations that make it very clear the anime was created to push the limits of what viewers can tolerate.
And yes, the scenes here are not your typical “adult content.” A lot of them go far beyond the line, into territory that is uncomfortable, taboo, and intentionally unsettling. There are moments where you can’t help but wonder how a studio in the early 2000s even decided to produce something like this.
Not because it’s “hot,” but because it’s disturbing.
If you just want light adult entertainment, this is not what you're looking for.
But if you’re curious about extreme old-school hentai and want to know “just how insane things could get back then,” then this anime fits that niche perfectly.
Conclusion:
Watch it in a private place, prepare your mindset, and don’t expect comfort from this title.
This is the kind of anime that leaves you staring at the screen afterwards saying:
“…What did I just watch?”
Thanks for reading.

Kamikatsu (I’m not even sure what the full title means 😅) is one of the funniest isekai comedies I’ve watched — probably my favorite right after Konosuba.
Before anything else, I want to clarify that this review is not intended to offend, mock, or disrespect any religion or belief. This anime is meant as fictional entertainment, so please watch it with an open and mature mindset.
The story follows Urabe Yukito, who reincarnates into another world — a world without gods and without religion. This contrasts heavily with his previous life, where he came from a radical cult-like background.
Yukito dies in a darkly comedic ritual caused by
...
his father’s extreme obsession with religious faith, which is already absurd enough 😂
It gets even crazier when Mitama, the god worshipped in his past life, actually appears in the new godless world.
Yukito is then appointed as a “prophet” to gather followers for Mitama — and to make it even more hilarious, Mitama appears in a loli form. The comedy, absurdity, and satire work surprisingly well together.
I’m actually surprised the anime has a score below 7 on MyAnimeList. Many comments online said the animation looks bad, but personally, I don’t think so. The animation isn’t bad — it’s intentionally absurd, similar to Konosuba, which also isn’t focused on high-end animation but comedic expression.
The opening, "I Wish" by Rin Kurusu, is extremely catchy and still stuck in my head — it makes me laugh every time I think about it 😂
Overall, I think Studio Palette delivered a solid comedic parody. I personally rate it 8/10.
It’s funny, chaotic, absurd, and entertaining, but it definitely requires a mature mindset to fully enjoy it.
Thanks for reading! 😊

Make Heroine — or whatever you prefer to call it — is a pretty chill anime. Maybe for some people it feels too chill, but honestly, that’s fine with me.
Because of its high score on MyAnimeList (somewhere around 8), I came in with pretty high expectations. The story follows the everyday life of the MC, Nukumizu Kazuhiko, who somehow gets caught up in the love drama of his classmates.
To be honest, I’d rate the story around 6 or 7 out of 10. Not bad, but not particularly outstanding either. However, the character development is really solid. Nukumizu himself feels realistic and well-written, and my favorite
...
character, Yanami Anna, is just amazing. She’s one of the most realistic female characters I’ve seen in a rom-com — cute, yet believable.
When it comes to visuals, this anime really shines. Maybe not on the same level as Ufotable, but A-1 Pictures did a fantastic job. The animation is clean, expressive, and beautiful to watch. The opening theme by Bocchi Boromaru fits perfectly with the visuals, making it one of the most memorable parts of the show.
So yeah, giving it less than a 7 would feel kinda unfair. If MAL allowed 7.5/10, that’s exactly what I’d give. But since it doesn’t, I’ll stick with 7/10.
I really hope there’ll be a second season. I haven’t read the manga, but I’d love to see more progress between Nukumizu and Yanami. If that happens, it’s going to be epic — from nothing to something! 😂
That’s all from me. Thanks for reading! :)

I actually watched this anime quite a while ago, but only now do I have the time to write my thoughts about it.
We’ve all probably seen images, memes, or random posts about Redo of Healer floating around the internet. I know this anime is pretty controversial, but honestly, I found it really interesting.
I totally understand why many people rated it poorly. Still, for viewers who enjoy revenge-themed stories, this one definitely hits the spot.
The background of the main character (Keyaru, if I remember correctly), the cruelty of Flare and her companions, and how Keyaru finally gets his revenge — it’s all intense and, honestly, really
...
satisfying to watch. I truly felt that his revenge was deserved, and as a viewer, I was completely satisfied.
I really hope there will be more anime like this in the future.
Visually, I think the studio did a solid job. They probably received a lot of backlash from certain audiences, but to me, they did a great job bringing this story to life.
I genuinely respect everyone who worked on it — the studio, the producers, and the manga author.
Overall, I liked it quite a lot. The revenge theme gave me a strange sense of satisfaction.
But of course, please be wise when watching this anime. It’s definitely not something to watch with family — make sure to watch it in a safe place 😅
Thanks for reading! 😁

Alright, I gotta say... this anime was actually pretty good!
The full title is kinda long, so I’ll just call it Takamine-san 😁
At first, I honestly underestimated it. I thought, “Ah, just another ecchi anime. The jokes are probably all the same.”
But after watching one or two episodes, I was surprised — the story’s actually quite interesting.
Sure, it’s still your typical ecchi setup, but the comedy? Absolutely hilarious! 😂
I couldn’t stop laughing, seriously wkwkwk.
(And don’t worry, this isn’t really a spoiler 😅) — you’ll get to see some crazy situations involving how Takamine has to put on or take off her underwear in extreme moments. Wkwkwk
...
😂
And Takamine herself... total tsundere! My future wife material right there 😁
She’s got that perfect mix of confidence and sweetness — and, well, you know... those oppai don’t hurt either 😆
Meanwhile, the male MC, Shirota (if I remember correctly), is such a clueless guy.
He has no idea how Takamine really feels about him, and that makes the story even funnier and more charming.
There are so many ridiculous yet hilarious scenes that kept me entertained the whole time.
Of course, it’s not a perfect anime. One thing that bothered me a bit was the “rewind” scene — every time Takamine uses her power, they show this long butterfly-and-rose silhouette animation.
It feels way too long, like a whole minute just for that visual 😅
Maybe they did it to fill the 24-minute runtime, but honestly, it drags a little.
Originally, I wanted to give it an 8/10, but because of that overly long sequence, I’ll lower it to 7/10.
Still, it’s definitely worth watching — just, uh... make sure you watch it in a safe place 😏
Thanks for reading! 😁
