-Both are two of the best high school comedy anime out there. -Both have extremely overpowered main characters that better the lives of those around them (Korosensei and Saiki). They're quite different from each other as well, with Assassination Classroom also having some serious themes/moments which Saiki doesn't have very many of. but I feel like if you like the humor of one, you very well may like the other as well.

Both anime begin with a girl stripped of her rights and in chains. Both protagonists have traumatic pasts and don't really care whether they live or die at first. Both protagonists are taken in by powerful beast gentlemen with strong magic and become much happier for it. Both girls fully dedicate themselves to their "savior" beasts as well. While both anime go pretty different directions with their plots, I would say if you like one, then definitely check out the other.

-Both delve into deeply disturbing and depressing psychological themes. Both series have child main characters forced into difficult situations (usually directly or indirectly caused by the adults around them) and having to deal with that and the complex emotions that come with that. -Both are not for the faint of heart as they feature children as the main characters often suffering physically/mentally and having to overcome extreme adversity. Do not watch them if you're in a particularly bad place mentally or just sensitive to that kind of thing. -Yes, they both feature a lot of suffering, but also there's some comforting/wholesome stuff like in the bonds of friendship the characters share with each other (trauma-bonding yay). And in Takopi's case, his dedication to making the main character smile even if it doesn't go as planned. -Be prepared to cry...or to at least feel something stir in your empty husk of a soul.

Both are super short, super dumb anime that leave you wanting an explanation as to why they even exist but you aren't gonna get one from anywhere other than "well why not"... One is about US president Donald J Trump transferring to an ordinary Japanese school and rapping and the other is about girls transforming into various different vehicles. They might make you laugh or you might just cringe throughout, depends on your humor. (I personally found them hilarious though.)

Both deal with main characters trying desperately to save those most dear to them... (I don't wanna get too far into spoiler territory here though.)

They are quite different in the way they approach their themes, but I also feel like if you like one, you'll like the other. I didn't see anyone else recommending these to fans of the other title yet so yeah. -Both titles have a story with a lot of emphasis on the horrors of war. -Both have orphaned youths as main characters who struggle to survive in a war-torn country (with Violet it's in the past). -Both are tragic stories full of feels and (are about as likely as it gets with anime to) make you cry

Both are dumb, funny, somewhat subversive takes on the Isekai genre.

-Both series have a lot of violence/blood, often inflicted on young, cutesy-looking characters -Both series have a main cast with strong bonds of friendship that get them through even the worst adversity -Both series have a lot of mystery elements -Both series have a setting involving some sort of supernatural "curse" (the curse of the abyss/Oyashiro-sama's curse) that affects the characters physically and psychologically under the right circumstances

Both anime have extremely overpowered kuudere main protagonists surrounded by the idiots in their respective classes. Both MCs secretly care for those around them and do lots of things to actively better their lives. Both MCs really want to be left alone but end up with a ton of people fawning over them nonstop over the course of the series. Both anime have very tropey gag side characters that contrast and work off each other and the MC well. Both anime feel rather fast paced and random at times with their humor.

Both are shounen anime with lots of action and arcs and around 100 episodes. Both involve a "real"/modern world and alternate occult/supernatural settings that they tend to switch between. Both have lead main characters who can be rather brash and rude, but who have hearts of gold when you get down to it. Both have established main "squads" who they recruit over the course of the series and fight together with (pretty standard for shounen though) who are a mix of humans and demons. All in all, I think if you enjoy one you may very well enjoy the other. (They both also have English Dubs that aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami segment though that's kinda irrelevant.)
