Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister might seem like a generic harem on the surface, with its fairly typical jokes found in other works of its kind, but it gradually becomes a quite enjoyable piece thanks to the attachment to the characters and how much more we discover about them, sometimes in surprising ways.
Yes, this manga has its share of supernatural elements, which add to its charm and set it apart, something that previous reviews based on just three chapters obviously won't grasp.
The artwork is splendid. As the chapters go on, you can clearly see the author improving his craft; rereading the very first
...
chapter after finishing the whole series, the difference in facial expressions and character art is noticeable. I personally really liked the round, expressive faces of the maids. The paneling is also well done, and whether it’s the Amagami sisters or the landscapes and backgrounds, it really sets the mood.
Regarding our main character, he’s great, has his own personality, and slowly evolves, which prevents the work from feeling repetitive or overly long. So rest assured, he’s definitely not your typical throwaway isekai protagonist. Like I wrote earlier, the characters are truly endearing, especially the Mikos, they’re genuinely great characters. I also really like the secondary characters we meet along the way; each adds their own little touch to the story. Some of them remain very minor, but they’re still relevant and contribute well to the whole.
Personally, I found the pacing to be good overall. The arcs are interesting and increasingly intriguing as they progress, and the few in-between chapters are enjoyable to read. That said, the events at the Sanctuary felt a bit repetitive, similar to how in Nisekoi there were several nearly identical outings to a same place. While this repetition does fit the core theme of the manga, a handful of chapters ended up feeling somewhat redundant. There was also one arc in particular that dragged on unnecessarily long.
Does the story make you want to keep reading chapter after chapter? I’d say it depends on you. If you connect with the characters, then absolutely yes. Otherwise, the beginning might feel slow and not very exciting, one of the main flaws I noticed.
Does the manga manage to stand out compared to other romcoms of its kind? Out of the fifty or so I’ve read or watched, I’d say it ranks well above most. Is there a lot of fanservice? There’s a fair bit in the first half of the manga, but after certain events it decreases a lot. Aside from a few jokes here and there, it’s not really a focus.
Without spoiling anything, I think the author managed the story quite well from start to finish. Not every question gets a clear answer, but the way it’s written made me feel satisfied overall, and I didn’t have any bitterness after closing the final chapter.
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend it to fans of harem and/or romance, especially if you enjoyed The Quintessential Quintuplets, which is my favorite romance and shares many similarities with the Amagami sisters. For other curious readers, I’d say try reading up to chapter 41 or 50 to get a real sense of the work, though I can’t guarantee it will be your cup of tea.
Thanks for reading.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my review of the anime Kaoru Hana. Thank you, really, thank you. I want to thank the website for allowing me to share my feelings about this work, so thank you to the developers, thank you to the admins, and thank you to whoever invented the internet, because without you, I could not thank you here. Sorry if this introduction is too long, I apologize. Sorry if I apologize too much, I apologize for that as well. Thank you for understanding, and thank you for still reading despite all these apologies, thank you again.
I
...
really like Waguri, thank you Waguri for existing. Hoshina is fine too, thank you Hoshina. And Tsumugi and his friends, thank you for being characters. I thank the author, and I thank the voice actors, thank you all for your beautiful performances. Sorry if my gratitude feels overwhelming, I’m sorry, truly sorry, and I thank you for bearing with it.
However, the storyline feels too thin for my taste, sorry if you don’t agree. I also had some trouble with the drama aspect, which I don’t think was very well executed, sorry. With all the hype, I was kinda disappointed sorry. Its rating feels unjustified, and for that, I apologize once more. And I must apologize again for pointing this out, but the endless “thank you” and “sorry” inside the anime itself, at a frequency I have never experienced before, were so heavy that I almost couldn’t watch. I’m sorry to my media player, which I had to order to pause several times. But I also thank it for obeying me, so thank you, dear media player, thank you.
Thank you for reading until the end of my review. If you got a headache while reading this, sorry, I’m so sorry : I cannot recommend this romance. But if your soul longs for an infinite flood of apologies and thank-yous, then please, by all means, go watch it. In that case, you will not be disappointed. Thank you.
And sorry for this extra paragraph. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi takes a bit of time to get going, but once it finds its rhythm, it becomes a really enjoyable and worthwhile watch.
The first few episodes are exactly what you’d expect from a harem/romance/comedy: typical jokes, character introductions, nothing too exciting. It starts off slow. The usual “three-episode rule” doesn’t really apply here, you’ll need to stick around a bit longer to see what it truly has to offer. But give it about a third of the season, and that’s when it starts to show its uniqueness. Little by little, the twists start kicking in, and it really gets interesting.
Visually, it looks
...
great. The backgrounds and cinematography are super well done, and the whole vibe is warm and comforting. The three shrine maidens each have fun personalities and get good character development, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The side characters are nice too, and while most of them don’t get much focus yet, some do get their time to shine.
And of course, there’s Uryu, the MC. He actually deserves the love he gets. We’re not dealing with the usual clueless harem protagonist who somehow has every girl falling for him for no reason, he’s way better than that. It’s really rewarding to see how the characters grow over time.
If you’re into romance/harem anime, you should definitely give this one a shot. It might not be anime of the year, but it’s still a solid and enjoyable watch. If you make it past the early episodes, you’ll be fully on board and ready to enjoy the ride, hopefully into future seasons too.

I really tried to understand Solo Leveling and its popularity, I really did. But I just couldn’t. Maybe I’ve outgrown the phase of getting excited over Dark Sasuke characters with deep, overly badass voices.
The first two episodes of season one were actually great. I was ready to dive into what seemed like a fascinating universe. But then? The same repetitive formula kicks in: our protagonist becomes ridiculously overpowered with random bonuses pulled out of nowhere, instantly kills his enemies with a snap of his fingers, and the cycle repeats. Fine, I thought maybe this was just the introduction.
But season two? More of the same. The
...
story is nonexistent. There’s no tension, no stakes, no moments of doubt. Absolutely no interesting characters, just mindless NPCs. Try naming three characters you probably can’t.
The biggest disgrace, though, is episode three. The only mildly entertaining aspect of this anime is its brainless action, and yet they have the audacity to skip most of the fights. A supposedly too high-level boss gets taken down in minutes after a few dodges, are you kidding me? Why even watch this? At what point am I supposed to enjoy anything here? Am I a 5 years old kid?
This anime is an absolute embarrassment, pure mediocrity at its finest. Don’t waste your time. The fact that it gets such high ratings is absolutely surreal.

"Solo Leveling" is the epitome of fast-food anime. I haven't read the manhwa, so my opinion is based on this first season only. SL is a superficial work. The story becomes incredibly repetitive after the introduction, just looping over and over. All the characters introduced are empty shells, useless, uninteresting, and completely lacking charisma. Jinwoo, the main character, is unbearably boring, driven only by the plot.
If there's one positive thing I can mention, it's that some of the bosses are pretty cool with their OSTs, but that's about it. The animation is decent but not amazing. If you don't care about the plot or characters
...
and just want to see some fights, you might want to check it out. If you have even the slightest expectation, don't bother.

It was quite enjoyable to watch. The animations are enough to make me want to appreciate these action-packed moments; it's undeniably cool to watch. The universe is nice, albeit somewhat cliché, although that's not really a problem...
...Except when it's way too much, to the extent that you truly feel a lack of personality during certain episodes. The four main characters are exactly the same as Naruto. Speaking of characters, few are endearing; giving us 2 minutes of background (which are also clichéd to the extreme) isn't enough for me to appreciate their stories. Sukuna is probably the only slightly interesting one; otherwise, they're very flat.
...
As for the story, it's overly simplistic and stops evolving halfway through the season. The subsequent episodes fall into a loop of endless and uninteresting fights.
The comedic moments are enjoyable even if they're not always funny. The openings and endings are very well done.
If you're a fanatic of this type of shonen anime, go for it. I'd still place it above your average shonen. Otherwise, move along; you won't miss much.
