They are both -life and death survival game where the characters were brought on an unknown place -the game is run by a mysterious organization -the protagonist almost have the same character (imawa no kuni no alice' MC is younger) -I like the heroine on imawa no kuni no alice better -genres are the same and the intensity of the game is there. They both have anime. 😊

Liar game is not a life and death survival battle but a money gamble. You are forced to play a game even without money. When you lose the game 'they' will do anything to take the money you lost like selling you to become an experimental subject. So it still concerns your life. -both have the game run by a mysterious organization -the games in liar game involves reading people, lying to people, using psychological attack, deceiving, etc. It is more of a mind game. It has less action tho. -if you like psychological genres and liked btooom you will definitely like it.

MC both uses guns. The story is both playful and serious. I find them really similar just by watching them. I can't really explain but the emotions I felt are similar. The airing year are both 1998.
