TBH I started watching Dress up Darling for the ecchi, but totally fell in love with Marin along the way. Of course the lack of movement in her and Gojo's relationship is frustrating but the one part of S2 that annoyed me the most was the pacing. I read the manga and was totally stoked for the S2 release, but was the most excited for the Haniel cosplay. They even included it in the outro. But episodes went by and eventually, no Haniel. I felt SO let down because It was the one thing I wanted to see animated the most. Sometimes DUD feels so ... freaking slow or boring and I feel like they should have been able to fit that in there SOMEWHERE but they didn't. Unless they're planning some movie thing which is annoying because it means I just have to wait even longer. just WHY include Haniel in the outro if ur not gonna put them in the show?!?!1

However, I absolutely loved how well Akira was portrayed. I love her obsessiveness and I relate to her a lot, at least with the 'I don't want to talk with her because I'm scared she'll think I'm weird' thing. They did stretch that out a lot for dramatic effect or whatever which felt a little bit too long on my end (THEY COULD HAVE FIT HANIEL DAMMIT~!!!).
