I really don't want this manga to be forgotten. I came to it after watching the anime, and I truly hope they animate the second season as well to give it the closure it deserves.
I found it to be very beautiful and comforting. Without a doubt, the artwork, characters, story, and development are brilliant. Special mention goes to Machi, who, despite being a very young character, is sometimes more mature than the protagonists. It has a few inconsistencies in general, but they don't bother you at all.
This is a manga you read to be happy; there are no rivals, no villains (well, maybe one, but
...
I wouldn't really consider them as such). Anyway, read it if you want to be happy for a few days while watching the adorable Shiori grow as a person and build her life outside her home island.

I've watched over 150 anime and I dare say this is the WORST one I've ever seen. Compared to this, Domestic na Kanojo is an Oscar candidate...
The characters are awful, they make absolutely no sense. I would only save Yui. The protagonist is an idiot with no self-respect whatsoever and no charm. Yukana is a girl with an absolutely hollow head. I guess she's dumb because she's nice (?). The stuff in the last few episodes is disgusting with pseudo-NTR.
Spoiler.
Let's see... Junichi and Yukana are walking and they run into a former high school classmate of hers. They both start talking very flirtatiously and arrange
...
to have lunch the next day, all while the boyfriend is standing there like a stick, and she doesn't introduce him. It's the high school friend who has to ask who that guy is. And then she introduces him.
Junichi is affected because she didn't even introduce him, nor did she ask him to come the next day to grab something after lunch with her former classmates. And she GETS MAD. Because the protagonist lacks confidence and she DOESN'T MAKE IT EASIER. The next day she treats him like crap and goes off with her classmates, ending up alone with the former classmate, and Junichi sees them laughing in a café. She is so simple and airheaded that I SUPPOSE she does it without malice. But it is complete nonsense.
Well, it's understandable that the poor protagonist feels bad, but nope, it's still his fault. Later they talk and they say Junichi had been selfish (unbelievable, the nerve of it) and he tells her he saw them, and at NO POINT does Yukana say she didn't do anything with the other guy, while the other guy was going around saying she was easy. At no point does either of them deny that they did anything...
In short, an anime disaster, and the animation is lousy. It tries to be an ecchi and fails, it tries to be a comedy and fails, it tries to get serious at times and fails. Horrible.

I just finished rewatching Shingeki no Kyojin, Attack on Titan, or whatever you want to call it. I knew, I was certain, that I was going to like it much more than the first time I saw it. But even so, my expectations were met—and I insist, I had already seen it.
It's true that I watched it day-by-day as the anime came out, and that made you lose the guiding thread of the whole Historia a bit. Although it's not hyper-complex, it does require a certain amount of attention and dedication.
I wouldn't even know where to start... The characters are perfectly built, and every death
...
and injury they suffer hurts as if you knew them for real. You empathize with them, and you even understand drastic decisions that, at first, you would rant against.
The narrative is difficult to surpass. The end of the story is heartbreaking, human, and imperfectly perfect. The music is absolutely insane, and every opening and ending is meticulously detailed.
I could be talking about this anime for 13 years and still run out of time. I just want to say that if anyone is having doubts about facing it, they should know they will enter a world full of emotions where it turns out nothing was what it seemed to be. Who are the villains? Who are the good guys? Are there even any?
Give it a chance without hesitation, please, and once you have watched it completely, come back to watch it again after some time so you can see how wonderful it is and close the cycle.
