Started reading this because I saw one of the characters was named Sherlock Doyle, as in Conan Doyle's most popular work and his last name. At first I was pretty disappointed there were no mystery developments and I thought the artist was just a weird pervert for wanting to make such a work (still probably true, who the hell gives someone a piggyback like that?), while this must be at least partly true, instead of an 1800s era royal mystery or a (n entirely) SOL story for the mentally debased, I found the story of a somewhat pathetic leach of a younger brother being forced

The manga started strong, offered interesting characters and technical insight into the indie game-making process, it failed to maintain characterization (except for the main girl and the industry leader who resembles a boy), leading to characters who would be forgotten between chapters, and spent the bulk of its time on niche uninteresting concepts like VR-Games/ ARG games. At times it delivered on the premise (the neet girl who goes around, only doing what will benefit her in making games was interesting), but usually, there was too much text and too few interesting details, you could tell it was going to be axed 10 chapters before.

Looks promising. A high energy manga. At first it seemed a bit amateurish, eight chapters in and he's improved at drawing women. If he can maintain the energy with the "monster of the week/ suspense mystery" format he's got between Matsumoto and the cop, it will be good. At this point, I have faith that he'll continue to think of new ways to make races exciting. The friendship between matsumoto and the cop is cool, somehow he makes cycling look interesting. Characters have understandable and interesting motives.
Matsumoto's "Zoom Zoom" catchphrase is annoying and feels forced, though maybe this is different in japanese. I hope he ...

Good visuals and Audio hampered by terrible writing.
The first episode seemed good, every arc after that has extremely obvious or out of left field twist, the limited cast of characters are interesting at first, but shallow (this is a plot driven show so this is okay), despite this, concept is unique. It's annoying that the story doesn't seem to be able to deliver satisfying developments based on the premise, I assume this is not the fault of the studio, as this was based off a manga. This is a product that could cater to the Agame Ga Kill/ High School of the Dead audience ...

Asshou is a slice of life college manga with some wish fulfillment romance aspects and a good moral. The chapters are pretty short (+quick to read) and it gets good after chapter 25. {SPOILERS} This entry looks like the first work of the mangaka and asshou reflects this. It starts as some boring otaku bait wish fulfillment trash and then switches the route of the story. This can be inferred by the way the characters change suddenly.
