Ah, One Punch Man. I loved this anime from the first episode to the last one. Now, I haven't seen the second season yet (which I do plan on watching), but I can tell you one thing: if you want an easygoing, funny anime, this is a top pick from me.

The story is only there so that things make sense, but even so everything is very nonsensical - which in this case works in the anime's favor.

One Punch Man is an action-comedy packed series.The characters are interesting but not in any serious way, since everything is very easygoing. The action and animation shine, and most ... of all the comedy does - through the action! Isn't that surprising?

My overall enjoyment of this series was a 9/10, with my only regret is not having it be longer. (going to watch the second season soon :] ) I recommend this wholeheartedly for anybody that likes anime - also a good title to get someone into anime through.

Let me start by saying that I've seen this anime quite a while ago - it's been a year and a half now. But ever since I started watching it, I couldn't let it rest. I finished the main iteration in a week or two, and the rest followed after that, including the OVAs.

It was just so good, and fresh - despite there being quite a few sports anime out there. Yes, I am a fan of boxing, that's one of the reasons I chose to start watching this anime. At first I wasn't sold on the art style, being quite a bit on the ... older side in these first 75 episodes, but let me tell you: after getting into the story, the art style only complimented this anime.

The story is inspiring and even lighthearted most of the time, even if the competitions are important, it's never life-threatening or anything of the sort.

The characters are very likeable, the main ones and the supporting ones as well, and the antagonists are always given a very threatening aura up until the fight night, and sometimes even during the event. This makes the fights seem like ultimatums once every few months. Ippo is one of my favorite characters now, all I need to say.

My enjoyment of this anime was 10/10 all throughout the series. Although I am not a contrarian, I can't find much if anything at all bad about this anime even if I tried. It's great. It's good a good story, great characters, great action and most of all: heart. 9/10
