The protagonist is very kawaii; you can feel her disorientation with new things and her shyness. Her spontaneous reactions are very funny and sometimes remind her of a cat. The protagonist is badass and no-nonsense.
It has initial melodrama, but it's only initial because afterwards there's a balance between serious moments and comedy that's well placed throughout the plot. Plot twists aren't the anime's strong point; there were two important ones, but the one that should have been the most important is very poorly executed, breaking the immersion.
