this manga is so fucking good its actually ridiculous. feels like it was written by a former therapist. every characters emotions are so ALIVE and REAL!!! It's everything I've ever wanted from a slice of life/romance manga. So many charming characters, who have real depth and development at a normal human pace. The artstyle is both cute, gorgeous and impactful when it needs to be. I have absolutely no problem saying this is one of the crowning achievments in shoujou manga history and a downright masterpiece... and it's not even finished yet!!! perfection in subtlety.

it is. weaving complex interpersonal webs that still feel clear and completely relatable is basically an impossible task to do PERFECTLY but this artist has neared that perfection more than any other manga in this genre I've ever read. it's easy to dismiss a manga that operates on a small scale event wise but there is just soooooo much packed into the details here. deep dives into how small moments of trauma can change your future self dramatically (especially in a school setting); or straight up tackling the past head forward. its far more introspective and emotional than you would assume based on the style of the series.
i've been searching basically half of my life for the PERFECT slice of life and its right here. i need every volume of this. incredible.
