This movie is a masterpiece, the reason to that is because the movie not only is enjoyable for children but is also for grown adults. The fact that it can grab a variety of different range of aged audience is what really makes this movie a fine work of art.

When I first watched this movie as a kid, I didn't realize how deep the story was and what it was trying to tell the audience. It was enjoyable, a good amount of action, the same characters with their same personality portraying their personalities in order to make everything return back to normal ... again in the end.

However, when I watched this movie again out of nostalgia after I became an adult, it was enough for me to shed tears. The reason is because this movie did incredibly well in trying to make their audience reminisce the past of when they were the children that used to watch this movie, so pure and young, not knowing what the actual meaning of this movie was.

I didn't realize why my mom started to sniffle when she watched this with me by my side.

Sometimes when I watch this movie, it makes me want to go back into the past so much. But knowing that I can't is what makes this movie even more great, because even if the culture is different since it is obviously made in Japan, it is still enough to make us think about why we were so happy as children.

This movie is the exact definition of "There may be people who haven't watched this film, but there aren't those who haven't watched this film only once."

Most of the shin-chan movies aren't only for children, and if anything a lot of them are probably not good for children to watch. That is why it's fascinating, because a totally youngling-targeted show can creep up onto people like us who are tired of adulthood, seeking for a way to flee from the reality that we live in, wanting to go back to when we were all young without any worries,

Ok so here's the deal. This movie is just plain shit, I don't understand what kind of lesson(s) they're trying to give out to the audience but I didn't receive any awe from this movie whatsoever.

First of all, wtf is this story? The beginning was ok because it seemed like one of those relaxed movies that I can get into a good mood after watching it. But now I'm just confused as to what this movie wanted to offer.

Second, why are the characters so gullible in this animation? I know it's just a lil ghibli studio movie that I can watch ... without thinking much of, but who the hell lends an almost stranger a shit ton of money, then goes to some other bigass town on a damn PLANE with them just because for the sake of it?? It doesn't make no god damn sense.

Lastly, it's just shit man. I don't know how else i would put it. I know it's an old movie and all but they really didn't put much thought into this one when they were making it. Also the main character chick is slightly racist lol

Anyway it was a waste of my time.

I read this manga about half a year ago.

Straight to the point, this book was a disappointment.

Positives:

1. Good art
- The male characters were especially well drawn.
... - Unique art style.

2. Somewhat consistent
- The character’s personality does not change(without reasons).
- Was about one topic the whole time(love and the conflicts that occur while being in a romantic relationship).

Negatives:

1. Rape scene
- Not only does it have a rape scene, but it claims the “criminal” as being “innocent” somewhat.
- The boy who raped the protagonist girl justifies himself that he didn’t know she would be inexperienced. Even if she was experienced, does that grant him an authority to rape her anyway?

2. Weak plot line
- Consistency is good, but a repetitive plot isn’t a good thing.
- The couple(Megane-kun and Chouko) fights the whole time throughout the book.

3. Weird ass story
- The couple “loves” each other, but all they do is argue.
- Random appearance of another character who likes Chouko.
- As said before, had a tendency to justify criminals.
- In the beginning, Megane-Kun tells Chouko that he hates her when he ends up loving her. Tf

I was utterly disappointed when I finished this book because it was recommended as being a yandere-related book. To be honest, I could see why it’s yandere material, but this ain’t it sis. I mean c’mon, the character development isn’t very well written, the whole book is annoying. I wasn't expecting any rape to happen in this manga, as well as it being justified.

Don’t read it if you are expecting a yandere x yandere.
Megane-Kun was beautiful though. Lol

Giving it a 1 overall because of the crime justification.
