Fast Forward

While the idea is interesting and the characters are well-written, the entire work seems rushed in a way. When a work is about time and space, one would expect a lengthy or at least an enough explanation to what is happening. Instead, we were confused the entire time, not knowing what is happening but are reading regardless because the work is still enjoyable. Characters were not given time to think about what was happening. In fact, it seemed that they were a know-it-all, always figuring a really complicated thing in a very short time with the weirdest of methods. I was pretty disappointed by the

In a world where individuals leak their own personal information and location to social media platforms, Remi Do finds herself the target of a serial killer stalker. In a game of Tom and Jerry, she struggles to stay alive or to find people whom she trusts.
Bonus points to this webtoon because I chose to binge read it in one sitting despite the art style not being my cup of tea. It’s one of these stories full of plot twists. The incredible number of twists put the reader on edge with trust issues; ‘should we trust this person?’ ‘I really want to trust them, but ... Jun 27, 2025

This webtoon has one of the healthiest couples I have seen in my entire life. Communication, genuine love, learning from past mistakes, attempts at understanding those around, you name it. The story is also interesting and very fast-paced. In addition, it sheds light on serious and deep topics; like poverty, corruption in the workplace, and school bullying.
That being said, I decided to drop it at 52 chapters out of 75. It felt like I was forcing myself to read it. The romance was a little weird to me (which is entirely personal, there is nothing wrong with it!). I think I would have enjoyed ... Sep 21, 2023

I think this is the first time I cry out of empathy to victims of a murder mystery fiction.
Lots of emotions throughout the whole series. Fear, panic, sadness, depression, anger, and a lot more. At some point I couldn't sleep the nights because of how terrifying it was. This is NOT your average murder mystery, there is a lot going on. lots of mysteries to unfold and each secret holds a bigger secret. It's also one of the few works that I have finished and was satisfied with it. I didn't like some parts at the end though when things were coming to the light, I ... Sep 21, 2023

Why did I even continue reading this? I have no clue.
It's really bad. The entire plot is painfully weak, the characters die here and there and I don't even care, I have no attachments for them, I barely know them and I don't care if they get murdered, slashed, tortured, or whatever. I don't really see the point in reading a supposedly "survival/thriller" manga when I don't care if the characters are gone. The intended vibes are supposed to instill terror and fear. That being said, I giggled at some parts because it was just so silly and nonsensical. The idea of monkeys carrying weapons ... |
