I am not one who goes for an anime like this; I am very much an isekai, adventure, and light-hearted comedies. This anime blew me away in a way I was not expecting, one that warrants a review in my opinion, hence why I find myself here. I loved the development. I didn't mean to, but I got emotionally attached; it's very hard not to. The characters, the artwork, the amount of storytelling and detail, this anime is one that I walked into with no honest thoughts on where I was going to be thinking. I honestly found this anime to tug a lot at ... my heartstrings. It will do that, the investment is similar to being ready to cry ( I only cried at 2 animes ever), and this one made it 3. I have never felt more invested in character relationships, and also seeing the dark side of humanity, yet the light. This does Justice to the play, musical, and book written by Victor Hugo. If you are looking for an anime that is hard to watch for emotional aspects, this one takes the cake with the amount of emotional aspects involved. You can tell every frame and every scene was well thought and it was a pleasure to see the journey of all the characters you love when you meet them.

Absolutely beautiful! The scenes, the chaos, the story, and how it all unfolded were spectacular. Nothing could have prepared me for this and I was thoroughly impressed! The idea, along with the storyline, is so unique it really took a fresh take on things since other anime's and ideas took different directions. The style and the creativity and the feel-good moments in this season too, were excellent and again wow, the storyline was packed and brilliant! If you like Isekai, action, and also a genuinely good story, this is breathtaking. I loved this not just because of the genre, but also how much it took ... my breath away in comparisions to other animes in this similar idea, I mean for one though the genre of Isekai and in general was being overcrowded and then this!? This was stunning and if you haven't seen it, you must, this is a big must watch.
