Just read the manga. It's a bad adaptation that steals moments from characters. The anime feels like a summary or recap of the manga many backstories, character development, and even characters themselves are missing or altered. It's one of the worst adaptations. I give it a 7 only because of the plot, Fighter D, and the banger opening and ending. But seriously, just read the manga.

Anime is often boring, though occasionally entertaining. Despite MAPPA's efforts to add artistic value to its works, the writing team repeatedly fails to deliver a cohesive story or an experience worthy of being remembered by future generations—or even something I'd recommend to my friends. Despite a massive budget and talented animators, the story remains weak, lacking logical consistency and relying on laughably dumb solutions to its conflicts.
