Basic summary:
Bad directing, very bad writing.
Very good animations, very good choreography
Bad directing: way too much random stuff going on. Bollywood dancing. Some Hawaiians in medieval middle east. The romance appeared so late in the end that it was pointless even including it and couldve just left it as a mother-son or friend and friend relationship. somewhat spoilers but nothing too big.
Cons: Terrible character development. Their stories are very well done. However their development is where they lack. They get stronger physically which is great, but they don't truly develop at all after the first few episodes. Raftalia, becomes a very capable sword fighter after overcoming her natural cowardice. Bad news is that she still believes in peace being the only option and will never kill even if it means saving other lives. She is constantly hesitating against defeating villains and hence she has not actually developed out of her initial state. The ...

Too many time gaps and fill in the blanks... makes the whole thing seem unfinished and very poorly directed. One minute a guy is holding a knife, the next minute he's best friends with his hostage and now has a handgun.
A lot of gay rape is implied throughout the skippy story. Plot is weak Setting is nice and I like the ending song. Gangs of New York is a really interesting setting. Animations outdated, but isn't distracting since I thiiiink it takes place before or around the 2000s? Character developement is horrible. Main character begins as a somewhat tough guy.... but ends ...

sorry but it's nowhere as good as eyeshield 21.
less emotion, but still similar. Haikyuu is far more predictable... there simply isn't much to strategize in haikyuu. Took 30 episodes just to learn that you can do a fake out and tap the ball instead of slapping it full strength. Come on. What's more annoying are the points. In the anime they'll have one team perform amazingly, while the opposing team is failing hard. turns out the opposing team is only losing by 1 point 21-22. that's some bullshit.
