If you like Hunter x Hunter, you would probably like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as well. Both series feature great characters with strong friendships. I'm comparing these two works side by side because I watched JoJo first, and when I watched Hunter x Hunter, I felt a lot of similarities. Both have bizarre and unique narratives, eccentric characters, and power systems that are very different from typical shonen. They feature unusual powers where even simple things, like objects, can become powerful weapons. I would add that the fights don't rely solely on power but also on the mind; strategies are extremely important too. I think both works rely heavily on unconventional methods of storytelling, and because of that, they stand out significantly above other classic shonen series.
