When I first saw the trailers I dismissed it as trying too hard to be funny and parody a certain fantasy world. After I watched the first episode with some friends I was hooked. I have not laughed this hard since the first airing of an anime with SAERIOUS SIDEWAYS JUMPS. Never judge a book by its cover!
The character Mash could be fleshed out a bit more but he is a muscle head so that can't be helped. It's still early on but it seems like we know most of the side characters almost as much as Mash (currently at ep7)

I'll keep this review short and with as no spoilers (maybe one very minor one).
Fate/Stay night had a very interesting story line that progressively got more and more intense. As many of you know this series comes from an adaptation of the visual novel (VN) of Fate/Stay Night. Watching this series you will notice a decent amount of action, dramatic scenes, good comedic aspects and lot's of character development. When it come's to strong points I very much enjoyed the feeling of wondering what the character's will do and often was immersed into wanting more. A major aspect of the series is how after the ... |
